Service was a1. Great! My only complaint was that our seats were super close together to the other diners. I would have wanted more space. But were in NYC so to be expected I guess
@@rosahacketts1668lol…when you decide to eat Italian food, do you say “I’m going to an Italian restaurant” or “an American of Italian Ancestry restaurant?” America is a melting pot where nearly 99.9% of its citizens aren’t native, therefore it’s perfectly fine to identify as African/Caribbean/italian. This doesn’t take away from being an American Citizen.
That’s exactly wut he kept doing. And subconsciously that’s why I won’t ever ever ever. Never. Nobody will ever play me like that again. And I taught myself. So it says a lot about my character
This is the first video I've watched of yours...I heard the Bronx and I had to subscribe. I miss Kwame's restaurant in DC, guess I'll have to come back home and try Tatiana.
Just ate there last week. Made us wait on the line an hour -Pissed🤬 though we had a reservation. The G Mgr. chick was the worst. They need a new system. W/that said ... FOOD AMAZING‼️ Ordered: Prawns🔥🔥🔥 Fish 🔥🔥🔥 Oxtail 🔥 DRINKS: Nutcracker & Gin/Tonic🔥🔥
@@mediaecw For me it was a special reservation as I was contacted thru their office via several emails & convos. There is no Waitlist. Either you have a reservation or you don't. If you don't, the line is for those who understand the 1st come-1st served/type of seating. That's just their system.
In NYC it's easier to book two reservations for 3 and ask to be next to the other party than get one resy for 3+. It's honestly gotten so much worse post pandemic
Egusi dumplings!? Wow I've seen it all now. LOL. And onlu suya seasonings? Damn our food needs more international love. Please o we need one great chef to Nollywood our food abeg.
nice review. i would never think to eat goat or oxtail. any more mainstream suggestions? is everything spicy? I am familiar with shrimp so i would do that. cant believe there is a successful restaurant in lincoln center. good for both parties for allowing that space to be used.
As a Nigerian I feel like this food is a scam lol. The portions are too small and prob don’t taste any Better than what your mom or girl or aunties make. Egusi dumplings? The amt of red stew dip you finish in one or two bites once you spread it on rice at a party. Lol. This is a scam. Wouldn’t pay that much for that crap unless to do a review
@ lmao. The not expensive trial abeg lol. Let my aunty agnus or aunty essence make this for a bbq and this place will feel real shame. Salute tho. Subbed
“…I wanted to be fancy, I wanted to be a lil stush” 😂🤣 definitely the place to stush.
You know the vibes 🔥
@@therealsnackdoctor hahahaha that was funny
It's nice to see an upscale African/Caribbean restaurant get top billing and situated in an upscale area. How was the service & hospitality though?
Service was a1. Great! My only complaint was that our seats were super close together to the other diners. I would have wanted more space. But were in NYC so to be expected I guess
It is owned by an American of Caribbean ancestry.

Bravo...!!! A Bronx Native supporting another brother from the Bronx ( The Restaurant Owner). The food and the environment is a experience...
Love your commentary!!!

Gahdamn. Luckily food was that great. Sometimes bad service makes the food taste nasty lol
@@therealsnackdoctor Facts, not sure I'd return
Well that answers my question about the hospitality. Hopefully that attitude was a rarity.
Reservation just ensures you’re on the waitlist. Otherwise you’d just be leaving it up to luck that they have a cover/open table for you

I liked the video and how you presented the food.
Thank you. Many more videos on the way!
I remember the first time I had suya when I visited Accra in 2019. Now I wanna go back to Labadi beach and get some more.
Suya from the motherland really is elite x 1000
my guy, how do u have the fork, knife, small spoon, big fork & big serving spoon in your plate? lolol
It's called being greedy af 😭
Wow what an experience that looks so good. I love African food yummm
It is owned by an American of Caribbean heritage.
Yeah, if you get the chance you gotta try it. They do a great job with it.
the owner is african but i think he grew up in carribean neighborhoods here in the US
How much did you spend?
Egusi dumpling?!!! I almost want to cry 😢

@@therealsnackdoctor thx. how much was the meal?
Heard and seen great things about Tatiana, but i don’t want meat cabbage and bread as my entree. For 90$ at that
Definitely a tough "bill" to swallow. NYC is a ridiculous place
@ im with you on that, keep doing ya thing
I have to try this place soon! Nice video!
Hit me. I got u with the plug 🔌 🤫🤫
@@therealsnackdoctor Word?? lol
I knew he was not getting no TON of food at no Tatiana, no one is. Prices wayyyy to high.
I couldn't try everything on the menu but I did have about half. More than that would have put me in the red lol
I'd be rolling out the door for sure, if I ate there.
Lmaoo. Yea I heard they refreshed the menu too
Wth was that with the slice of rum cake??
It looks like olives!! 😆
Naw. Those were gooseberries! Theyre a sweet sour berry. I think they were grilled! Didn't add or take away from the rum cake in my opinion!
