I'm a girl, and can attest to the fact that I felt INSTANTLY on guard when this guy started talking about how to "turn a girl on". DO NOT go to a random girl and start "putting on the moves" unless she's giving the vibes, aka genuine smiling not awkward smiling, and is not looking like she is planning an escape route. I myself feel VERY uncomfortable whenever a guy starts to just give me compliments without establishing any other connection. When I have a comfortable established connection with a dude, and he gives me compliments, THAT is when I feel "turned on".

Sure, his dating videos are "alpha" stereotype related, and there's always an ad in it, but there's actually pretty good content by Alpha.
His grooming/styling/fitness videos are fine, but even better was his series where he got a viewer and helped him find his identity, get some new clothes, give advice and of course, gift an ad product (a man has to pay his bills).
Even though he has an ad in every video, he puts his script in the description, so you don't even really have to watch the video (something I've only seen he do)
I think he is really over targeted for hate, because of his hyperactive persona and "alpha" name, but he doesn't encourage toxic behavior, and helped a lot of people find confidence.

I followed Alpha M in the beginning of his TH-cam career and it was nothing like that. First it was about male fashion specifically for young adults. He wanted to stop the stereotype that men didn't care or dress well or if they did it was because they were homosexuals. Second, it was really more down to earth and tone done compared to this. I stopped watching his content when it didn't bring nothing new to the table, unfortunately.
Alpha does have a lot of videos that are like that but he also has a lot of videos where he is more of himself and less of a persona. Life when he talks to his wife, or talks about the mistakes he made in his life, and the video he made about how bad his life was. Alpha has helped me out a lot, in fitness, hygiene, and confidence. I think you should react to some of his more thoughtful videos and then decide. You shouldn't judge him only for the more eccentric videos.

You know, the tips he gives away just made me think of the image he has of women, even though he teaches respect, and the image he's contributing to build of women: a person who's gonna take you for your looks, smell and seductive skills (like dancing?!). It's like she's not complex, you just need some tools to unlock her interest and that's it, I mean he literally said you can just put your damn hand on the small of a lady's back and lead her wherever you think you can. I don't think it works in real world, and the guy who got slapped in the face can confirm that.

So all of Aaron's advice isnt great, but I think he does more good than bad. I just think this video was kind of mean spirited, especially the dig at Aaron's height in the beginning, (kind of irrelevant) I realize Alex is a young man, but I think you shoulda cut it out. I'm new to your channel, but idk if this left a good taste in my mouth. Not saying Aaron's above criticism or even mockery, but personal digs are low blows.

I agree. I love Anthony’s videos because they’re so analytical and I always learn something new. But this one left me with a bad taste in my mouth as well :/ yeah he was yelling a lot and his point weren’t always that great but idk it doesn’t mean you gotta talk bad about the guy. Why is alpha getting all this hate now? He's been doing youtube for years and he's helped alot of people. Is it just a trend of hating on him or did he do something? I don't follow him much so im just curious
It's the same when cancel culture all of a sudden beats you down and it becomes a trend. It starts with initial statements and then it becomes a trend, a wave that keeps on going. Now i'm not saying that this example with Alpha is cancel culture. From the video i can tell that it's more looking at this video in particular and the advice that Alpha gives that is being looked at with strong criticism. And i think that that's something good. Point out the flaws and the dangers that lie within the content and hand out better advice to combat it.
So, the one caveat that I would like to make to a lot of Anthony's videos, while they're very good and very informative, he has a constant push for "being your true self". The issue with this is that a lot of people who haven't dealt with life or death situations, such as Alex, struggle a lot with personal image and identifying your true self.
Perhaps doing a series or something that focuses more on discovering what your interests are, and becoming true to yourself would be extremely beneficial coming from the generally positive standpoint of this channel, instead of just preaching about why it is important to be "Iconic" teach how to be "Iconic"
You don't have to be in life or death situations to learn how to accept yourself and be yourself lmao. Maybe some guidance to particularly confused and lost individuals who have no direction in life, but for the most part giving out advice like this and making these videos and talking about the subject can already be enough for most people.

I realistically hate guys that act super "alpha" or overly masculine.I actually veer away from Alpha guys and go torwards/get pulled torwards more so Beta guys.Everyone has their own opinions but I personally gravitate and relate to more Beta guys....Now there are different definitions of Alpha guys but in this case I'll take a hard pass.I don't find Beta guys as annoying (depending on what kind of beta's we are talking about) and usually they are not nearly as egotistical.I hate guys who act overly cocky and act like they are the best thing sense toilet paper (I also don't like F-boys and guys with over all bad manners).I say that I usually will get angry with an over entitled Alpha guy who tries to constantly boss me around in the most rude or "assertive" way possible.
Gonna disagree with ya on this one Anthony. I used to watch Alpha M. back in the day when I needed some much needed style/confidence advice. He's definitely high energy and sells products sometimes, but there's plenty of genuine care behind his videos. I mean, he used to do videos where he'd give his subscribers make overs and get to know them. I think some of the videos pulled weren't... the best examples.. anyway, just my thoughts! You definitely had some good points, don't get me wrong, I just have a soft spot for the guy I guess, he's a good dude.

reaction videos also help him show his subscribers that these kinds of videos are sending the wrong message. if he didn't react to alpha m, there would be a lot of his subscribers who might be confused if they should do what alpha m is teaching them or not

I think reaction videos are a good way to sort of flex ones thoughts on a variety of subjects because you won't ever really encounter the exact same scenarios in life as one another.
There's a reason people/corporations make a sales persona to pitch products, they mold it into what their audience will like the most. Personally the fact that alpha m fans are defending the sales pitch in place of the actual person is a bit iffy to me but business wise alpha m just knows his audience.
There's also a reason why not many pitchmen are seen that much anymore besides late night infomercials, not many people like them and that's ok.

Bro I love Aaron!!! I dropping a podcast with him soon he extremely down to earth!! He been on TH-cam for 10 years of course he has to turn up his energy a bit ! I get you react to people love your video as well as Aaron been watch him for 4 years now and you for 6 months I I would say with Aaron stuff just as well as anyone says don’t take it to the extreme because you only have a few seconds to say what you’re trying to say on TH-cam so people were listening to you watching and it’s hard to explain your full idea and a 10 minute video
Aaron has all of the time in the world to check what he's saying, script it and record the video multiple times over if he wanted to. He even could have put a disclaimer in the video if he wanted people not to take any of it that serious. You've gotta imagine that a lot of insecure men who may have never seen his content before could stumble across his video and take everything he says as completely serious. And that just feeds the cycle of toxic masculinity and manipulation more and more. Now i'm not saying that he is a bad person. His interests to make these videos could come from a good place like wanting to help people. The criticism is completely fair on these type of videos made by him.

Anthony Recenello hey, thanks for replying! Just make sure you’re shutter speed is always double your frame rate. It might seem choppy because your shutter is at 1/60th as opposed to 1/50th, assuming you’re shooting at 24fps
Could you analyze Xo Carlos, he is a smaller you-tuber and gives advice to man but he has some thought put behind it and doesn’t try to sell stuff and is not so cartoonee.
I think you should watch the rest of his videos . Some of his videos are tongue in cheek . But yea most of his videos are helpful for stylish stuff .

And his breakdown. (Paul Thomas Anderson does a lot of father-son-relationship stuff in his movies. Because we will find out during the movie, why Tom Cruise's character is the way he is. I used to be bullied (would usually ignore them but they wouldn't stop), and in 7th or 8th grade one day I said to the girl who was being mean to me, "Yeah I get that you're an insecure person, and that you're trying to feel a sense of superiority over me, but I'm not bothered so really you're wasting your breath." Lol she was NOT expecting that and had no idea what to say. After certain responses like that a couple times they left my friends and me alone. It was like giving their brain a roadblock, they weren't expecting it and had no idea how to respond in the moment..
Also if anybody followed this guy's advice and tried to act like that to me, I'd be fucking terrified that I was going to be assaulted and call the police. Guys who act all "alpha" like this make girls feel scared to say no.

That's what got me to subscribe to him recently. He seems so chill and sweet. I also love the relationship him and Marzia have. It's so cute. Most of Pewdiepie's alpha comments are for laughs but this alpha guy really doesn't have the charm Pewdiepie has because he is trying to sell products.

It's not about mocking. It's pointing out stuff and giving criticism to his videos with a bit of lighthearted humor at the same time. He has some nice content too. Like the grooming/shaving videos, helping his fans, etc. but it's fine to call out dumb manipulative advice like his.

when anyone buy a 4*5 carpet and their room is 3*4.so they would probably cut it to fit the floor.when i am seeing you doing your stuff and it looks weird to me i would start judging you (to fit your actions into my mind with all of my beliefs) instead of telling you some advice to improve yourself or asking you to expand my horizons and understand the value of your job and interest.

I hate to say I prejudge a certain look in a man eyes ..... I prejudge whether they have anger problems or overly dominant.... I say “I can see the devil in his eyes” and that is a man I steer clear of. I have been abused before and I am not closed off BUT I am a aware of a certain look in someone’s eyes that is a warning to me. I may be wrong ... someday ..... but so far it has proven to be true when I found out more about the person

The oNLY positive that I'm pulling from this alpha guy's video is that the red-pill type man who is watching it will want this kind of person giving them advice. If they are influenced by him saying that you need to respect women and not judge or belittle other people, maybe they will actually absorb that and start getting a TINY bit away from alpha mentality - and that would be good.
Anthony I always enjoy your videos and i love your analysis and who you are as a person. But honestly this video sort of left a bad taste in my mouth and that’s because it just felt really judgmental on your part. Yes he was yelling a lot and all but saying negative comments like how you hate him and he’s fake doesn’t really make anything or anyone better. The point here wasn’t really very constructive or informative for anyone as your videos usually are. It was basically a video about how AlphaM is just a cash grab, his advice sucks, and that to you your friend is better lol. I just feel like I expected a lot more from you as a person then to throw low blows like this at another creator that actually makes videos to help people (even if it isn’t done very effectively all the time). In a way it makes me question the purpose you had behind posting this. This is just some CC on my part and I hope you get where I’m coming from
