    You may notice the camera feels a bit shakier when zooming in and out. I tried something new to give a more natural feel when moving around the map. Which one do you prefer? The new smoother movement or more static movement like previous videos?

    • @death_parade
      @death_parade 3 ปีที่แล้ว +58

      India is all gung ho. Difference is we can't steamroll communities because private ownership of land is a big thing in India. That concept just doesn't exist in China. CCP can just relocate people without any consideration for them. In India, citizens literally embezzle money from the government whenever the government wants to buy their farms, etc for any development work. On top of that, you have various foreign-funded NGOs in India whose sole purpose is to protest against _any_ development work. And by protest, I don't mean peaceful placard protest, rather I mean going to courts and using every legal means available to slow down the project. These NGO leave no stone unturned in ensuring that every development project in India faces delays and cost overruns. Ask anyone in India how much of a headache land acquisition is in India, they'll tell you. Despite all this, India's infrastructure growth is rapid. India is not China. India is India.
      .
      Foreign governments use NGOs as an instrument of economic sabotage and regime change in India. Government of India recently introduced new rules for NGOs receiving foreign funding, including limit on administrative expenses at 20% and audit of their finances. The Americans are already up in arms about it. They tried to pressure Indian government to relax these norms under the guise of "Covid-19 aid". Indian Government told them to fcuk off and told them that any "donations" will be distributed through the Indian Red Cross to ensure equitable distribution. They shut up real soon after that. Just to highlight how ridiculous the NGO network in India is, read this from an American website:-
      .
      _"India is home to almost 1.4 billion people and while the country has made great progress in the past decade, it is estimated that approximately 53.5 million Indians continue to live in poverty. A great majority of the estimated 3 million nonprofits operating in the country are working to reduce extreme poverty and address its impact on health and well being, access to education, social discrimination and exclusion, and more."_
      ^ SEE this $hit? 3 Million NGOs working for 53.5 Million people! And yet at the end of the day, its Government of India's spending that is lifting Millions of Indians out of poverty. These NGOs only divert a part of their funding to the causes they claim to support. Most of this money is used for Anti-India activity.

      @@death_parade the stuff you said about NGOs is so far from reality, it hurts. Foreign NGOs have done far more for India than the insanely corrupt Indian government. *Especially* the American NGOs have done more for India than any Indian nonprofit. The issue isn’t “sabotage”, it’s that the Indian government doesn’t want too much foreign money & influence in the local economy (which is a valid concern). What’s wrong is how they portray the American NGOs that have done wonders for helping pull millions of Indians out of poverty, eradicating malaria in the country, and providing access to clean energy, water, and toilets. The Indian government will almost never acknowledge it, and many Indian citizens will lie & pretend it doesn’t happen because it crushes their ego, so they’d rather support a government that is thoroughly corrupt, ineffective, racist, classist, and nationalist (not to mention, also religious now!). In any case though, Delhi’s metro expansion is still ridiculously impressive and should be applauded by everyone!!
