    My husband and I are about to take our second trip to the island of Mo’orea at their Hilton resort. Next time, I wonder if we will end up at the Conrad…we play with Hilton points too. Wouldn’t that be nice! Thank you for sharing your journey, and congratulations on your anniversary!

      Thank you! 2nd trip sounds amazing! Definitely possible for you both to make a trip to Conrad with Hilton points. :) Enjoy Moorea!

    Great video! How was the weather and what time of year?

      Thanks! We went in the beginning of September and the weather was nice around mid 70s. It was quite windy some days, and rained for few hours on one day (out of the 5 days we were there). Overall weather was nice and breezy.

    Looks so beautiful, especially that sunset at 9:10! How deep was the water outside of your villa where your husband jumped in at 8:49?

    • @alabamalaysia2532

      It was probably at least 3 meters deep, we couldn’t really touch the surface unless we dive in.

    It looks like you perhaps have the Aspire card. When you booked the standard room thru 4+1 with points, did you have to pay additional to get upgrade to overwater villa? (If so, how much was it?) Or was the upgrade free due to diamond status?

      Yes we had the Aspire card, which was great with the Diamond status and resort credit. We were lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade to the overwater villa upon arrival, which I believe was due to the Diamond status and the fact that we were celebrating our anniversary. :)

    How much day you stay here?

    • @alabamalaysia2532
      @alabamalaysia2532  ปีที่แล้ว

      We used points to redeem for the room so we only paid for our meals.

      The standard rate for King Sunset View with Overwater Pool is about $3200 per night, but we used Hilton points for our stay.

      Nous étions en bonne santé. Nous ne voulions tout simplement pas risquer de tomber malades pendant nos vacances.

    Hey guys, just curious, why did you stay at that airport motel in Papeete? We’ve made that trip twice staying at St Regis Bora Bora but never had to spend the night in Tahiti. We were coming from LAX though so maybe the flights?

    • @alabamalaysia2532
      @alabamalaysia2532  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Gizelle, the United flight from SFO - PPT arrived Tahiti at 6.55pm, which was too late to catch the flight to Bora Bora, so we decided to stay close to the airport and took the first flight next morning out to Bora Bora (to save on one night while maximizing our time in Bora Bora). I suppose you took the Air France flight from LAX that arrives early in the morning, which works well!

      @@alabamalaysia2532 oh I see! Makes sense. The one from LAX arrives at like 6am. You guys were also super brave to venture for a night on the main island. We just went for pearl shopping. Very adventurous! Conrad looks great! We went to the St Regis both times but is totally go to Conrad next time

      @@GizelleAnahi Thanks! =) We decided to spend a night on the main island as we were planning to take a self-drive boat around Bora Bora for the day and visit the St. Regis side to get the postcard view of Bora Bora (which was unfortunately cancelled due to strong winds). Conrad is on the other side of the island, and there's a small hill in the resort providing a view of Mt. Otemanu (on the other side). Definitely worth trying Conrad now that you've been to St. Regis twice. =)
