As an overseas Chinese, I don't understand why would my fellows build copycat buildings? In my opinion, copying things are not good, it shows the lack of creativity and the independent thinking, in particular for this case. Despite that the building looks good, the intention could be disgusting.

The Tower Bridge replica is located in Xiangcheng in Suzhou (near Houshijia Zhuang).

Rich and beautiful culture... Hey let's what we Chinese say about Europe... Anyway, the point is, grass is always green at the other side of the fense.
Also to us, the exotic feeling that outsiders say we are tarnishing, made us feel backward and poor. It was the same beautiful life style that got raped by British, French, Dutch, US and Japanese alike.
It takes a century of chaos and humiliation for us to look past our long proud history and into the future. If copying western stuff makes our people rich and happy, I as Chinese have no reason to stop it.

The best part is the brick span between the two towers, clearly such a structure is impossible made from brick, love it.

yes, I love this! More like this. Maybe for the Pearl tower? I really liked red wedding dress & I also liked the drone shot showing the shack in the hills b/c it shows some true living conditions for people.
This kinda looks bigger in a way, if you ever been to tower bridge you'll know that the pay is way too small for amount of people who use it

Old European style architecture looks so bizarre and wrong in non-European/western countries, but that's just my opinion.

Try living in china for most of your life and these places would be fun and interesting to check out. They're not for westerners - just like when they have america themed amusement parks in japan. It's silly to actual americans but it's a novelty from our perspective cos there aren't many places that have mini european replicas or cultural icons. And honestly it seems like a peaceful neigborhood to live in but that's my opinion.
I really don't know how to feel about this. I love London and that bridge. But I kinda wanna visit the copy too. They even included rusty patches and different coloured tiles on the roof. What an eye to detail.
Oh my god. I was there in the early 80's and it was a quiet village with nothing higher than three stories, no cars, street markets and people fishing on the river with cormorants. Now this?

Aint that good, now average person doesn't need to spent thousands and days to fly to far away cities for a few photo, and cities far away can have less tourist that they hate, its a win win situation.
most city of ancient china is replica of older city, much like kyoto is a replica of chang'an, while blindly copy the whole thing is overkill, don't really see the problem of people building stuff they like, maybe "the government" should make a law taking away "the freedom of constructing building however you like as long as it met safety standard"

4:43 I see a lot of East Asian people getting their wedding photos done here in London, like a huge amount, I often wonder what the logistics of it are; if they get a local photographer or fly their photographer here, they must go to Paris too. Some days when the lighting is really good and there's a lovely sunset I feel good knowing they got some nice photos.

What they din show you in the clip is that they been hit by a hammer 10 times and force to eat 20 cats, throw over the bridge 30 times hanging on wire in order to use the drone, drone regulation now adays.

I hope China builds a copy of every interesting city and landmarks from around the world. It will make China a very fun place to visit. But I think they should sell the housing to their citizens at a more affordable price. That way, they will not become ghost towns and be a vibrant full of life places when there are many people living at replica towns.
