It is called a "Walking Beam" Axle. It is the cat's meow when working in uneven terrain. Keeps from tipping your load out. Beautiful trailers ! Thanks !
A.R best me to it. Walking beam trailers are very popular here in Alaska! This system looks pretty cool for a lot of our uses. A removable hard cover would be a big plus for the kind of "expedition" hunting trips we take.
Nice to see a product NOT made in China ...Gentleman farmers are gonna love thiese . Thanks for keeping your accessorie products fresh and diverse..Always like to see what's new out there ! pc
Hey GWT, just wanted to say I have been watching your videos and Tractor Time With Tim for over a year now. Your videos have been very informative and helpful with my recent purchase of a 2025r with attachments. Thank you and keep up the good work. Chris from BC Canada 🇨🇦
Great video…thanks! I am interested in the Earth Moving trailer and was wondering if a cheater bar or something else would help lower the bed back down. It has become increasingly obvious to me lately that I am getting older, not younger, so any mechanical assistance is always welcome.
It's been fun witnessing you evolve through the years on youtube!!! Thank you so much for bringing us Great products, the trailer will be the first purchase in the spring👍 AGAIN,,,WELL DONE...
Hard to tell build quality from a video, but I've seen trailers similar to the twin axel set up for a good bit less, say around 2700 or so currently. IIRC, that is including a hand pump powered hydraulic dump. Used to be cheaper, iirc around 2200, but well, anything made from steel has gotten more expensive last few years. Of course, build quality could make the difference in price worth it, but as I said, hard to tell without being able to "kick the tires", so to speak.
country manufacturing sells trailers i just bought 4x7 with electric winch dump and 2500lb rating with walking beam axles for 1700.00 dollars great trailer
"Makes it easy for traveling on surfaces that are not your lawn" jokes on you, my lawn needs these kind of tires to get over it 🤣 I've been looking for something like these though. Been using a harbor freight 4x8 which works but isn't anywhere as good for material handling. Nice find.
What is the greatest degree of angle when mowing road ditches and will the Bora spacers help in that application? I have fluid in the rear tires and keep the front loader in a low position.
Consider LIne-Xing the trailer interior. If on very rough terrain, a pintle-lunette connection is good. You could customize the trailer by bolting vertical aluminum/SS 2x2s to the front, then bolt-on crossbars to mount the Artillian ROPS accessories (tool box, long handle tools, etc.).
Those are nice looking trailers. Just spent a couple of weekends pulling my 10 ft road trailer around the yard to put mulch down and pickup trimmings and other yard waste. One of those trailers, being half as wide, would have made it a lot easier.
Rural King has a great 3k hydraulic dump trailer which is perfect for the 1 series towing capacity, has the option to raise the bed with a hand pump or you can connect it to your tractors hydraulics, use can use rear remotes or your tractors front end loaders remotes to dump the trailer
You're referring to the king cutter XB trailer correct? I think they do sell a red version with thr Rural King brand, but it's made by King Cutter. They look nice, one disadvantage I see it weight, they are like 860 lbs, these Ultra tech versions are half that, and will have a lower center of gravity when loaded. Much more stable. Probably doesn't dump as well since the bed is lower, but the stability is huge if you have to travel over uneven ground..
I definitely like the two trailers that you showed in this video today. Now the one that I like the best is that the tandem axle. For living on a farm or an acreage I see a large number of jobs that that trailer would be used for. The one thing that you need to think about is that a ATV or UTV can only pull up to 1500 Ibs of weight. If you start pulling higher weight you are going to burn up the drivetrain. Pulling up to 3500 Ibs I wouldn't go any smaller than the 2 series tractor do to the power you have with it. If you have hills like I do I don't think that a 2 series can pull 3500 Ibs so keep that in mind. I am looking forward to seeing the one with the hydraulic dump. Now something that I was thinking is do they make even a bigger trailer than what you have shown? Like something that a Truck or a 4 Series JD would pull. I have been looking at a trailer from Northern Tools that has tandem axles but is half the size and can only hold 1500 lb but has the same size tires.
What is the trailer hitch that you have attached to the quick hitch? Would that fit a Kubota quick hitch? I have both a Kubota cat 1 and Cat 2 quick hitches. Thanks
This may be a stupid request, but I'm very interested in any recommendations for a trailer to haul with my 1025R just to pull a few people. I have 5 kids that love tractor rides and I'll be putting in some paths. I'm currently shoving them in a Gorilla Cart but would prefer something more comfortable that can haul at least 5 kids.
What do you think of the woodland mills mulelander? Seems quite capable and less expensive. Not sure i would use the log loading feature. Looks like a hassle and id probably opt for a skidding cart, but the size and dump capability look great for the price.
i too was recently thinking of a firewood processor..it's hard to find a home owner grade processor..if i could figure out how to send you a link to the ones i found
I think the word you were looking for on what the axle does independently is called oscillation. That's the term that Ventrac uses for what their wheels are doing. Of course, Ventrac also articulates and between those two features that's why they're almost tip proof. I imagine the oscillation on the bigger trailer will also give you a near tip proof wagon. It looks like a well designed wagon.
@@GoodWorksTractors well I almost tip my 40-year-old Kubota two-wheel drive tractor in the creek last weekend so maybe I have to go up there and see what I can do! Lol The good news was that it just ended up being stuck hardly on a low flowing creek and the family got together and we got the thing out even with the brush hog on it!
Definitely something I'd consider, but our current set up is more practical and less expensive since we use our Renault with frontloader and a old Mensing Nordstemmen 5.7t trailer to get fire wood. And while it's definitely way bigger, we do need to go on the road to get to our pine forest, so it's just better for us to use that set up (and it's a leftover from my dad's sheep farming, so we didn't have to buy anything extra).
I love this design however, if you load that thing with dirt you will not be able to pull that gate out to dump due to the way the tail gate slides in. The fold of the metal should be designed to be on the outside in my opinion. I had the same problem with a utility trailer I bough years ago from Home Depot or Lowe’s. Maybe they can design the same door for the small one that is on the big one. Great video though.
Nice trailors. If you ever get an opportunity, could you do some informational and review videos on UTV and ATVs? I see so many companies making them but don't know anything about them. Even Bass Pro around here has some, are they junk or just as good as a JD or kubota or polaris?
Love these trailers. The smaller one seems quite reasonably priced but the Earth-moving one seems out of my range. Regardless, they look great and I may get one some day!
I have a trailer from Ohio steel. It has the pivoting tongue, poly foam body ( won't rust, dent, etc) no axle so it has 16 inches of ground clearance. They also have a version with tandem wheels.
Love the trailers, I noticed them in the last video and was curious. If I invest in one, it would have the hydraulic lift. As one gets older, the "internal hydraulics" start to lose power and the external assists become much more appreciated!
Don't both those trailers have hydraulics? I saw online a video of the exact same trailers but they were self hydraulic. Controlled by a button I saw the Finland company post a video about it
i just got a Gorilla Carts 1500 lb dump trailer for $275 from menards. does it perform, does it hold up? over the course of 3 days i loaded it with 70000 lbs of river rock doing landscaping for a row of homes. performed flawlessly. now, it is what it is, it's not perfect, it's isn't a work of art like these, but for a semi-commercial operation where looks don't count, it's pretty awesome. if i was a homeowner who had a sweet compact tractor and it was my pride and joy, one of the finish units would be sweet.
Perfect timing for this video. I’m looking for a trailer that I can pull behind my Kawasaki MULE. I haul a 100 gal. water tank (Tractor Supply) so I can water newly planted trees on my 12 ac. On the “entry-level” trailer - Can you give my dimensions of the inside of the trailer? I want to make your my tank sits flat on the bottom of the trailer and NOT canted to one side. Thank you.
Thanks for the video. I am thinking about the Ultrateck lite unit for my small Kubota RTV520. What size ball hitch is on the unit, hopefully 2" as I try to keep everything the same. Have a blessed day! Acts 4:12

You had a video of a piece of plastic for yard loads and I was looking for the info. Thanks
What's the price on the tandem axle trailer bud. ?
It is called a "Walking Beam" Axle. It is the cat's meow when working in uneven terrain. Keeps from tipping your load out.

Those trailers have quality literally dripping off of them- nice!
Haha, they are the real deal!
That's a walking beam axle setup. Really nice looking. Keep up the great videos!
I knew you guys would know the scientific name, haha!
looks like a well made rig. The wheel hubs look like they have proper bearing instead of bushings, a definite plus.

Great video . More great stuff from gwt. Have a great day and stay safe guys. Tim
Another cool item, please show the electric dump version when you get it. Thx
A ULTRATEC ATV SAUNA TRAILER for deer camp would be perfect!
Haha it would be!
We love our Ultratec trailer, use it everyday with our Japa 365 Pro Road Edition!!! Can’t wait to see what you’ll be getting from Bob!
We’re up in Gaylord if you wanted to see what we have!

Amazing looking and functioning trailer! A bit of a sticker shock though. They don't give them away...whew
Couple others thought the opposite 🤣

Very nice! I'm going to look at a used (barely) Country mfg 8500 model this weekend.
I have a MUTS trailer that is made in Ontario, very similar, and I love it.
Same here, have a MUTTS trailer, ibreally like the winch on the MUTTS trailer
Sweet....glad to see the jd utv is still running...😉😎
For the price it cost that vehicle should last 40 years.
YES!!! MORE DUMP TRAILERS WITH HYDRAULICS!! 10FT. IF POSSIBLE. GREAT VIDEO.
Thanks George!

I like the idea of being able to remove both ends to carry something long. Logs, 2xX lumber or anything.

Tandem or walking axles is the name you were looking for…. Nice looking trailer
Those are nice looking trailers. Just spent a couple of weekends pulling my 10 ft road trailer around the yard to put mulch down and pickup trimmings and other yard waste. One of those trailers, being half as wide, would have made it a lot easier.
Can never have too many trailers!
@@GoodWorksTractors Absolutely not!

Those are pretty slick. I wish they were priced a little better. They are almost the price of a trailer you can take on the road
You're referring to the king cutter XB trailer correct? I think they do sell a red version with thr Rural King brand, but it's made by King Cutter. You may actually need Boras on the trailer too!!!
Haha, maybe so!
If you could get ones that fit, it might not be a bad idea. Especially if it make the trailer track the same as the tractor.

Great video, I’m thinking about getting a John Deere 3025d, do you know if it has a mid pto for a belly mower?
No mid PTO on that Series
This trailers are very cool 👍👍
Could turn the shovel around perhaps.
Nice trailers!
Definitely!
Those are really awesome but you already made me buy a big heavy duty sheet of plastic to pull behind my equipment this week haha
Haha my bad!
I wonder if a jack from TSC would be a good fit for the small one? Thinking out loud.
Might be!
You must be reading my mind on this topic!
Special talent!
Amazing trailer ! Pricing and features seems to be ok and quite interesting. Keep it up ! Let's follow sharing with us. 😉🙌🙃🙌😉
do you anticipate one with a flat square box bed?
What is the trailer hitch that you have attached to the quick hitch? Would that fit a Kubota quick hitch? I have both a Kubota cat 1 and Cat 2 quick hitches. Thanks
Honestly the quality, features ect I'm surprised these trailers don't cost any more then they do.
