@RANDOM USER I've listened to both their discographys and can say both are out of this world. However even Lowkey knows how amazing Eminem is even though he knows Em doesn't cover as much political matters as he does. In 'Alphabet Assassin' he mentions rising with the entitity of Eminem.
To me, Eminem is just so good because of the way he puts his lyrics together. The way he is able to actually tell a story, rhyming, and paint a picture, that's what makes him great. That's why to me he is just one of the greatest. And the way he is delivering it, sheesh. The combination of great lyrics and the delivery, is legendary. You can just feel and see what he is talking about.
The second verse gives me goosebumps. Especially the first lines of it. He isn’t saying he can’t sleep just for saying it or to tell us that he’s in pressure or something, he literally couldn’t sleep unless he takes ridiculous amounts of Valium, the drug he was addicted to. In all my years of listening to Eminem. I have never heard this song. This definitely speaks to me for sure.
I just absolutely fell in love with this from the minute I heard it on the album..... I really relate. This is seriously UNDERRATED... A masterpiece in my eyes anyway. God bless all... Through these hard times, we'll make it thru... Shell Xxxxx
"As long as there's still this hunger, and will in me, them expect a longer life expectancy" - 15 years later... 47 on this day. Happy Birthday Marshall

Love it !! The feeling in this song I’m speechless ❤️
Thanks Em for getting me thro' this night. Straight Alexander Pope OG.
This song keeps me alive to.this day❤
When I heard walk on water I immediately thought of this song. Maybe it’s been a long time but still think about if she realized eminem somewhat dissed her in a small way.
Kristin M who Beyonce?
True I thought the same thing he says beyounces pot belly but it’s edited out cause he got in trouble for that shit
Fuck censorship
Christian Durham he censored it in respect for jay z
This song blows walk on water out of the water!! No pun intended. I wish em still rapped like this with no fucks given
This and soldier n mockingbird give me goose bumps in 2019 and im a 32 year old man...goat?...no question
Same here man
So fucking true mate
Same
true that!
Same here, 33 this year, i grew up with eminem from a time where no one knew who eminem was..
Now the whole world have heard of him.
This was the real Eminem for me, he does not sound as good anymore unfortunatly.
this era is where i love his rap cadence and style the most!!!
The craziest thing about being an Eminem fan for 15 plus years is looking back at all my favorite songs were songs like this that aren’t really main stream that the modern day rap fan wouldn’t even know if you asked them about this song.
"My heart's a lighter my soul's the fluid my flow sparks it right up "...
Like skin complexion and background all that shit aside.. Tell me that's NOT the most poetic bar you've heard since Pac . JUST the bar. At surface value...
what pac lyric are you talking about? dumb comparison
Yh I know what u mean. Just them two lines are too powerful. Pac had that same effect with certain lines.
But bro then he says
I'ma arsenic writer (fire)
With arthritis
Carpal tunnel
Marshal will start shit itis
...... Carpal tunnel is numbness in fingers. Along with the arthritis bar.
Pretty gd for 20 years ago fucking hell
Cunninlyinguists' "linguistics" comes close, but the divide is still 99% vs 100% in logarithmic fashion so.... no, not close.
@@saneee2495 this came out 14 years ago
I swear all of his not so popular tracks are the best oness. Legend status
Such a powerful song to just understand what he was going through during this time! Straight 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
_"In my mind i'm a fighter, my heart's a lighter, my soul is the fluid, my flow sparks it right up",_ *Damn...JUST..Damn.*
The rhyme of 'lighter' and 'right up' is brilliant. Most rappers would not have considered that.
What a timeless classic, the beat, the lyrics, the flow, the meaning behind the song, everything about it just perfect 👏🏻👏🏻 what a fucking 🐐
Timeless explains it perfectly. Was my fav song when came out... still is. Absolute 🐐 when it comes to ✍️
Tells the most vivid stories. Couple those with cadence, delivery.... why I don't care what any says when they say he's overrated.
one of Em's best and i love that it's just tucked away at the end of Re-Up. back in 06 this was a lifesaver for me as a kid man
