- The only way for Harvick to leave his own legacy on the sport was to win a title. In 2014 he did just that.

Freaky fast and wasn't last. Harvick, our 2014 champion
Man, I remember crying like a baby at my girlfriend's house when I watched this live. Finally, the guy I was a fan of ever since I was old enough to go to a race with my father had won the championship. What a great day.
I started crying and yelling in happiness when Harvick won
Hearing how high the engines were revving going in the corners gives me chills.
😍😍😍😍 yes
Best Gen 6 season ever too. Don't @ me
agreed
I don't think anyone would disagree with you
Yes it was
100% agreed
Nobody’s @ing you, mate.
I still remember my tears of joy that November night nearly 5 years ago.
I remember being super sick and tired that night but sucked it up to watch my favorite driver win the championship.
He should have multiple championships, and Gordon won 2014. The chase is and forever will be stupid in a series where every team runs every week.
Harvick should've won the 2015 Championship, but NASCAR decided to fabricate a comeback story with Kyle Busch instead.
Hopefully Harvick finishes the season like Logano did last year. His nickname is the closer, what better way to live up to that nickname.
Also, can we get Allen Bestwick back into NASCAR? Maybe when Mike Joy retires?
Darrell waltrip just retired so there is the possibility
Ever since Kevin joined Stewart-Haas Racing, he has had no less than 2 wins each season, no less than 14 top fives each season, and no less than 20 top tens each season, and has only finished outside the Final 4 once (in 2016 when he ranked 8th).
As a Harvick fan this has to be my favorite video of yours!
Good Seasons: David Ragan 2011
Despite not doing much he did have a heck load of poles.
He had 2....
@@mgnta1 oh.
In 2014 Kevin Harvick Championship season look like this 5 Wins 14 Top 5's 20 top 10's 8 polls and a average finish of 12.9 And He's is the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion
Thanks a ton I can't read but hey at least I get to be deaf and blind here thanks to you
@@ThePikaPlayer Your Welcome
Jeff Gordon in 2014: 4 Wins 14 Top 5's 24 Top 10's 3 poles 8 second place finishes scored the most points no DNF's and an average finish of 10.4 and didn't win the championship? Yeah thanks to chase for the third time...
@@volkanuzug1824 We can say the same thing for Harvick in 2010, 2015, 2016, and 2020.
Here's a thing people tend to miss. At the start of the 2014 season, before Phoenix, Harvick was involved in a lot of accidents, most of them by sheer bad luck. He fell to as low as 18th in the standings by the end of Auto Club before he caught fire and went on the championship tear.
I miss Allen Bestwick’s commentary… 😭
Allen is a native of my home state of Rhode Island
Championship Seasons: Jeff Gordon 2001
Hey man, i saw you at the bullring. Nice vid, cant wait for the next one
Thanks bro!
Championship Seasons: James Buescher 2012 (Trucks)
Bad Seasons: Dale Earnhardt 1992
New Series Idea: Interesting Seasons: Tony Stewart 2006
Yes! Yes! Thank you for making this
The year we got one of the worst things to happen to NASCAR. The playoffs. At least they got what they wanted and that was no championship for Jimmie Johnson.
Kevin Harvick should be a three time champion. RCR has never been the same since he left
Easily. Would be 2014, 2015, 2018.
Without the playoffs it would be 2010, 2015, 2016 and Richard Childress would be a seven time owners champion
@@evannuh-koo-la4054 and maybe 2018
Nah in 2018, without the playoffs, the final standings would've looked like this
1. Kyle Busch 1418
2. Kevin Harvick 1378
3. Martin Truex Jr 1264
4. Joey Logano 1234
5. Kurt Busch 1220
6. Brad Keselowski 1143
7. Kyle Larson 1100
8. Chase Elliot 1092
9. Clint Bowyer 1069
10. Denny Hamlin 1060
Grindcore Rager 67 Jeff Gordon would’ve won the championship in 2014. Ironically, Logano finished 2nd 3 straight years under the old points system in 14, 15, and 16.
Try a truck series season for this series
Let's just say this was a championship actually earned under this playoff format.
*cough* Kyle Busch *cough*
The Busch Championship was a massive clusterfuck. Let's not worry about these guys who went 40 hours a workshift at a time with good results. Let's give this to a man we "must have sympathy for because he was hurt majority of the season. Harvick, Logano, yer good, but not as heartwarming."
Fucking clowns.
more like Gordon....
Grindcore Rager 67 didn’t he win like 4 races in a row or something?
@@Steventhe2nd agreed but if it wasn't him it should be Harvick
@@fishproductions22 well like i commented before, i am happy harvick won, but jeff was again robbed, not by harvick by any means
Jeff Gordon was robbed of a championship in 2014 and it haunts me to this day
I’m a Harvick fan I loved it at the time, but Gordon deserved 04, 07, and 14.
This is the year all the hard work paid off!!!
Bubba's career has been saved Darian
His season is saved, his career will be saved when he leaves RPM
And really, 2015/2016/2018 were better years for Harvick. 15 they were stupid fast but had the shittiest luck, 2016 they were about the same as 14 just fell off at the worst time, and 18 he won 8 races and could’ve/should’ve won 13-15 and got screwed by the winner take all one off race..
Harvick is savage for this. Leaving RCR and immediately winning a title
RCR was holding him back big time.
@@slimbrady6691 rcr harvick and shr Harvick are two hall of famers separately
@@lonewolf2513 He had a pretty good run at RCR but once he got to SHR, it was obvious RCR was holding him back. I mean it only took him 2 seasons at SHR to lead more laps than he did during his entire time at RCR. Imagine what he could have accomplished if he was running top notch equipment his entire career.
Good work.
He's a deserving champion, he just won the title in the incorrect season. This was Gordon's year.
We can blame Keselowski for that one.
The playoffs have fucked over a lot of people
Great Seasons Video Idea Clint Bowyer 2012
Could do a good seasons: 2018 as well for Harvick and Busch for that matter
To bad that he didn't won a championship with RCR in the cup series sadly😔
Guess what Darian... I graduated from high school last Thursday!! Now it's over
Same man congrats. I graduated the 24th

Could you do a missing rings Dale Earnhardt 2000?
YES MY BOI HARV
Yeah .... ...? Mr Restrictor Plate Spin Out Dude ... ☺
I’m going to admit and no one can lie about how they also did this. I thought this was iceberg and I think iceberg is black flags matter
Lol me too
You should do good seasons dale Jarrett 1996, 1997, 1998, 2001 also Ricky Rudd 2001. Another one would be Jeff Burton 1999, 2000

The closest Newman came to winning a championship, and it shouldn’t even have been that year
Without even winning a race either

NASCAR Busts: Kraig Kinser
Good seasons:Tony Stewart 2014

@@joshsmithson7955 no he isn't!
@Rowdy Smoke 14
If you wanna know who my pick is for at my track at Michigan the next race, it's probably this guy. No, not Kyle Busch! Since when was the last time Kyle won at Michigan?
Goat harvick
Gordon got robbed again and this time by a driver who had no business being there. Brian France’s fault... AGAIN!
Bad Seasons: Dale Jarrett 2003
Black flags matter Do Good Seasons: Kyle Busch 2008
Good and dropped off during the chase
Black flags matter do Too Gone Soon:Dale Earnhardt Sr
He already had 7 championships and 76 wins. He was a proven first ballot HOF. Gone Too Soon is for drivers who died before their careers took off.
Nascar Bust: Brian Vickers
Don’t get me wrong harvick is a really good driver but he kinda had to cheat his way into getting in the round of 8 so he could have the chance to win a championship
That's the way it goes. He didn't cheat he just did what he had to do.
Do Bad Seasons Tony Stewart
Imagine if Newman won that championship it would have been a legendary shitshow.
Especially without even winning a race lol
@@MrJoe1129uscg Worse was in 2015 when Kyle won that championship, even thought he was absent for 13 races he was able to win the championship and thanks for that he exposed the shitty format.
@@carlosarturoalvarezgiraldo7224 for real, that was just pitiful
@@MrJoe1129uscg I'm am a Kyle Busch fan,but his championship victory in 2015 was an embarrasment for NASCAR and that's why the playoffs since his implementation sucks, heck in 2018 Kyle was robbed when he was the best driver overall.
I would've loved it. Similar to how the Giants beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl way back when. Even with the new format, you can still claw forward with consistency. Much like Kenseth did for his title in the old format (only won one race.)
