Hey! What size anti chafe, split lume and shrink wrap did you need?

I used 3/8" for the anti chafe and 1/2" shrink wrap. I used the adhesive type on the end to keep it from pulling off. If you aren't running both harnesses like I did to the front, you can probably get away with smaller shrink wrap.

Did you notice that once you connected to the towing vehicle if the brake lights illuminated when the brakes were applied on the Bronco? I used this same harness on my Bronco and when I apply the brake pedal on Bronco it lights up the lights on my RV. I reached out to Curt and they say that the diodes in the harness is meant to protect the towed vehicle but not intended to stop back feed to the RV lights.

Wow, I didn't notice but that's very interesting. I guess it makes sense since diodes only work in one direction. Are you using surge brakes on your Bronco to where it would cause issues with the lights on your RV?

@@RoadandReelI’m using the Blue OX Patriot. I’ve only drove it a short distance so far to test everything once I had installed everything. I haven’t had issues yet.

What about Bronco's with LED taillights?
Is it possible to wire for both towing a trailer and being flat towed?

Curt SKU CM-58992 makes one for LED lights. At the time of this video, they were hard to find, but there are led specific harnesses now.

I start wiring power around the 15 minute mark, but that's for the trailer harness. I won't have this setup complete until this weekend when I built my tow bars. Video should be out next week sometime.
