San Diego State has had a great basketball program for over a decade. In 2020 they had one of the top 4 teams in the country, but the tournament was canceled due to COVID. This is no fluke. This is no flash in the pan. This is no Cinderella. This is 24 years in the making. San Diego State has now arrived on the biggest stage in college basketball!
The footage at 2:10 was a perfect angle for the shot. Arop's reaction was great to see from that angle as well. Such a composed shot and Butler instantly becomes a March Madness legend.

As an Aztec fan for 55 yrs I know how much losing like this hurts. Our 2011 team with Kawhi Leonard lost to U Conn on a Technical Foul, Kyrie Irving flopped down like he was shot in the last minute and the refs bought it. One thing is for sure, FAU has a helluva coach, team and future. What a year, you all should be proud! This team put FAU on the map and should be just as good or better next year!
