Coincidentally, the last time FAU was in the NCAA tournament (2002), they lost in the first round to Alabama who SDSU upset in the Sweet 16. Like 2023, Alabama won the SEC regular season back in 2002 (that year they were upset by 10 seed Kent State).
I still get chills watching this game a year later. Go SDSU 🎉🎉
