Thanks Peter! To be honest, I’m not too sure, but this was exactly how that mysterious man on the pier rigged it. I know for steelhead fishing, it supposed to imitate a salmon egg, but not really sure in this application.
@@josemeza7002 you got me curious, so I just looked it up, and you’re right! Apparently, San Francisco/Bay Area is not truly considered Northern California either? This is very interesting.
@@FeatherFishingyea sf is northern Cali, at least to all people from here . And what you doing with those 8-9 inchers😂. Let em go let em grow. Look for the big (non pregnant) ones. You were getting eaten by small ass fish that’s why your hooks aren’t sinking in😂 and that fact your swinging on them like your catching monsters. There just perch , just because there’s no size limit doesn’t mean you should keep small fish.
@@Nobodybaby78now I’m hella confused about the SoCal/Norcal thing haha. I thought you’re supposed to let the big females go so they can reproduce. Plus, I don’t want to get fined if they start popping out babies in my bag lol
Nice job my man. What is the purpose of the bead above the hook?

Some were alive and some were dead, but I didn’t notice any differences in their effectiveness, and this was last Sunday.
