It is pretty. It looks similar to last year's Cinnabon, with shimmer instead of scent. I love the idea of a dark walnut brown with shimmer! Hopefully Diamine is listening to you. 🤎
Kwz has a new range of shimmer inks called all that glitters. One is called Jurassic treasure that reminds me a little of this. Best performing shimmer I've ever used. Little to no clogging. Typically I've found shimmer inks to require a lot of Molly coddling, how you store the inked pen, even getting them flowing just after inking.
This ink is beautiful. I am surprised by how many inks in this calendar are on the light side. I love that though. They're interesting colors. I'm bot complaining at all. I am a big fan of brown inks. A deep brown with shimmer would have been so cool! Maybe we'll get one in 2025. 😄 I have to applaud Diamine for the amazing variety of inks in their Inkvent calendars. They had a lot of deeper inks in past calendars so I'm grateful they generally steer clear of repeating ink colors since these inks do become permanent. Fans who have had all 5 calendars so far already have some of the shades people are asking about in their collections from previous calendars. It can't be easy to come up with 25 new inks each year knowing they'll be shared widely and scrutinized.
I am always impressed with what they come up with too. This is my 3rd calendar and while some of the inks are similar, they are not identical which is amazing. I'm going to play with Winter Spice to get my dark brown fix haha.
Inkmas was a great project for me this year and I had a lot of fun! Once I got the "recipe" down it was fairly quick to film/edit 😊 Have a wonderful Holiday season!
I was surprised to see the shine it had. I liked it and I agree, I wished for a browner. I may mix this one with a dark brown to see what happens. Merry Christmas!
I hope it works out better in a pen for you than it did for me. The shimmer jammed it up a lot even in my really wet flowing broad nib. Be careful with the shimmer for sure!
My sample looked more beige brown whereas your sample was a bit more yellow. That might have been the paper. I found this ink was very similar in base to Ferris Wheel Press - Workshop Wishes. Workshop Wishes has a silver shimmer and this one has gold. I like them both a lot.
I have had this inked up all month and have really enjoyed it. I have it inked up in my Benu Euphoria Gold Coast with a fine nib and it performed so well. I think it looks a lot like Rey Jaguar by Monarca (which I believe is discontinued). I don't have bookkeepers brass to compare.
@ After tomorrow you can see the match on my December Currently Inked video. Plus a few others from the calendar I have inked up this month. Id like to know what you think of the pairs.
@@Adventuresover40 I actually just watched it hahah 😂 I love the pairings you picked! The Benu Hollywood with the Chilly Nights is so perfect! I'm going to go comment on it too 😊
I like this one, I really do, but I have been holding out for a rich brown - craving it. I mean, they did a blue sheener, so they'll give us a deep brown, right? Lolz 😅 Very happy with this being my first inkvent but I am baffled at all the light colours. I was expecting dark ones from this edition.
I am surprised at the lighter colors. You should check out Winter Spice from Diamine that they released in a previous inkvent. It is a lovely deep brown with shimmer!
It's like antique gold, pretty. A nice readable gold. 😊
I think it's a beautiful ink! Thank you very much for sharing all these inks Danielle!
Merry Christmas!
Lisa
This is gorgeous! What a glorious Christmas Eve Ink! So glad it's legible too. I agree that a darker one is needed next year, but we're getting there!

Merry Christmas ❤
This one reminds me a lot of Ferris Wheel Press Age of Aurum.
Winter spice from the Blue collection was a dark brown with green shimmer
Yes! I was hoping for something close to that. Winter Spice is a lovely, but a warmer dark brown with green shimmer would sell me!

Man these types of shades are my jam! Yellows, Oranges and browns! I just got Diamine Golden Sands for Yule.....😍🥰
Congrats on your new ink!! Golden Sands is so great!
This ink is beautiful.

@@mydandeliondiaries it's so good! I bought the bottle after I swatched it. Zero regrets. It has a green sheen and blue shimmer. It's amazing.
I love gold ink and I own a bottle of Rey Jaguar so no FOMO on this one. 🎉 the second I saw it swatched I was like 😍😍😍
I love this one it's pretty
Akkerman - 24
Wearingeul - Song of the Reed
Diamine - Golden Brown
FWP - Book Keeper's Brass
Monarca - Rey Jaguar
Very festive color!
Have happy holidays 🎄and I’m still amazed how you managed doing 2 Calendars with filming etc.
(I know one more ink is coming here)

@ I felt the joy and fun in your videos! Stay the way you are 👍
Obsessed with this ink!! I was so happy to see it.
I do love that it is much better flowing than Bookkeepers Brass. Great golden color!

Merry Christmas!!😊 I am going to try a couple drops of walnut with it and see if that darkens it a bit.
pretty ink, but I'm more into cooler shades and I wished it was darker...I might try and experiment adding a bit of raw sienna
Oooo I hope that goes well! I think adding a bit of walnut from last year too might make it a fun shade 😊
I hope it works out better in a pen for you than it did for me. The shimmer jammed it up a lot even in my really wet flowing broad nib. Be careful with the shimmer for sure!
It's based on the feed and not the size of the nib. If you own a Benu or a Jinhao x750 give it a go in one of those!
Oh no!! Another viewer inked this in their Benu Euphoria with a Fine nib and said it was doing fantastic. I do think the feed makes a big difference!

Paper does make a difference, I think this ink is really pretty and festive haha

I'm so glad it behaved so well!! That pen and this ink would match SO well haha.

@@mydandeliondiaries Thank you for the suggestion, I will see if my penshop has some samples :)
Oops that looks like the Diamine Caramel Sparkle
I thought they would be close but Caramel Sparkle is much more orange!
