Maybe cover the labels with masking tape. Please do not cut out!!! It would be a shame to do that 🙂 Due to an extreme life change I have been donating a lot of my former quality work clothes but equally I have sold some on Vinted. Personally, I need the money tbh! If I had cut out the labels, no-one may be interested in buying. Part of selling policy is you show the product brand and labels.
Could not agree more. When we buy something we need to think about the fact that it has a lifetime of it's own and how we can keep it's value longer.
It also proves its not a fake if its designer!
If you are swapping them with other people and some are designer and some not you should not be selling them unless they were your own to begin with.

I love you Trinny you never tell us not to go for that as its not on trend you let us explore what suits us personally but just think how to make it work you are so encouraging never making us doubt our own aesthetic and what gives us joy I was naughty and told an influencer to take a look at your tube as you never discourage a us to explore colours print styles just play with our closest,s and not just wear what's on trend basically be our own trend and own our looks and finding our ascetic just love you, you are a national treasure I don't care you truly are I'm in the process of going through a divorce and I must say every Saturday you bring me joy im in tears as I right this you are a blessing ❤😊

Really? I don’t understand why. I like the milk idea too. Happy to try anything as I throw away yellowing clothes and I have lots of white so very grateful for any idea.
Top tip ! I cut off the ribbed top of socks that are too tight or old and use them to hitch up sleeves, much better than elastic or hair ties, they don’t cut off the circulation x
Reviewing your wardrobe is such a good way to start off a new season. It’s like ditching the old baggage and starting fresh. I’ve halved my wardrobe from donating clothes and haven’t worn for the last two Summers and it’s made me feel so much better and now I can enjoy the pieces I love!
Trinny, the “old fashioned” practice of “bluing” keeps my whites bright. It really works!

Sorry you lost your closest male friend and Lyla’s God Father :( There is something sweet about him also being a shopping friend and that both you and Lyla got a pair of special shoes that you can both share and enjoy.. And whilst being sad, you were comforted with something you used to do with your friend/God father (shopping) and it is one special thing for you both to share and treasure.

I often change shirt collars into mandarin, not many collars suit me as they fight with my face (if that makes sense), the transformation is really good and the shirts look more classic.

Great topic! I just did the same thing in my closet. As I've aged I found myself feeling significantly cooler than previous years, even when it was a very warm day. I've eliminated a lot of summer things I didn't wear and/or don't suit me anymore. Thanks Trinny.

Another great video, Trinny! I realized years ago that a woman’s style evolves very six to seven years, and I need to strategically edit one’s closet and try new pieces that challenge my image of myself. I work in a school, so I’m surrounded by adolescents, of whom I’m very fond. I don’t wish to wear their trends-I need to show my own style and often the students make a point to tell me they like what I wear and that it makes sense on me. What a compliment. But I have you to thank because you have inspired me to be more stylish and not try too hard. ❤️

Thank you for inspiring me to go through my closet. It’s been in my To Do list but I’ve been procrastinating.
I so agree about thinking about what you didn't wear in the season just gone, but I do have a caveat - as the summer wasn't very hot (June was very dry, but cool, July was torrential rain and August was changeable, rain and low temperatures), I didn't wear very much of my high summer clothes, especially because we don't tend to do hot westher destination holidays. So I'm wary of getting rid of too much of that type of clothing (we're now having a heatwave, so some is being worn), but I am thinking about why I reached for a particular item instead of something else, and I will try and buy less high summer in the future (the same could be said for clothes for really cold winters), and go for things that can be worn three out of four seasons!

I also love hearing about why certain shoes work for you. I love ballerina flats but I think they make my legs look stalky, and the chunky shoes don't always work on me either.
Fabulous wardrobe! What about taking a photo and making an actual album of all the items you put away in the garage so you remember what’s there? A photo of the item and a photo of you wearing it so you have the inspiration to hand but not taking up room. Xx
Just a tip, wash your whites in cold water. Use normal washing powder and add 1 or 2 drops of fairy liquid. Even better, if you wash by hand, add a teaspoon of baking soda. Works a charm. For stains, make a paste with the above and rub it onto the stain. Let it sit for a bit, and rinse with cold water, then wash the entire garment as usual. Moms using cloth nappies, works brilliantly.

I tossed three T shirts and bought three T shirts; I am tossing two jackets to the Sally Army and I have bought two jackets; and I bought two scarves as well and I am ready for fall. The winter coats and a heavy cotton blouse are still at the back of the wardrobe and I'll take them out later for the winter. Soon, I'll change from sandals to shoes and hose again. That's it.
Funny coincidence - I just returned a frilly dress that I ordered second hand this morning, it’s just not me too 😊

👠 🥿 👡New Shoes Hacks I do -
Walk around instore quickly (less prading) to test the shoe comfort or fit.
Walking a distance test at home or outside on hard floors. Use a wide masking/duck tape on the soles/heels to test and protect shoes. (preserve store returns options)
Damp Socks, wet whole or top/bottom/toes area & walk in shoe/boots/sandals.
>For slightly rubbing/marking areas, wear socks, fold/pad out specific area, wet area, (Think wet padding top shoe rims or heel area)
Then, walk around in shoes 1hour or more, this area will give, soften, stretch to shape & movement of your foot.
Ta-da.. Personalied Shoe Comfort 😉

15:15 nice shoes, but I wonder if you might not wear them due to the noise factor. I find that with some of my shoes, I prefer always the ones that are soft on the floor.
