Has anyone ever objected a victim impact statement before? How rude.
Lori is seething! She can't stand any of the people who are making statements and can't stand that she was caught. She's clearly instructed her lawyer to be as petty as she is.
I have never heard of a rejection in anyones Statment b4 until now and i have listen to menny

Lori might think Kay just said she would have given her the money, but she will never truly know now. Mrs. Woodcock gave the most moving words I’ve ever heard. You can feel her pain, it’s brought me to tears. Tylee, JJ, and Charles are so lucky to have had her love.

Colby I will never remember Tylee and JJ as a spectacle. I learned your sister and brother were missing years ago while living in Georgia. I prayed every day that they be found, and be healthy. I was devastated hearing they were found, but not healthy. Please know that your Dad Charles, Tylee, and JJ are not a spectacle to me. They are beautiful Angels. I know Charles is holding Tylee, and Jj in his arms, while living in the presence of our Lord and Savior. My prayers extend to you Colby, for your loss.
Kay and Larry my heart and prayers go out to you both, as well as your family. I know this is not over for you, but the first step is complete. My prayers will continue.
For Tammy's family I pray for some peace, though your loss has been compounded, by the loss of Tammy's Mother. Hopefully the relationships with Tammy's children can be healed. If there is breath, there is a chance.

I didn't know about JJ's therapy dog Bailey. I'd always wondered what little JJ must have felt when it looked like his caring sister Tylee 'just disappeared.' How did he process that? He must have felt so alone. Glad to hear Kay's victim impact statement because I hadn't put all the 'things' together, a child with autism losing his father, familiar home, beloved dog, being relocated to another state, alienated from his loving grandparents and having his medications withdrawn.
Lori told JJ that Tylee had gone away to college .

Tylee said in the Arizona investigation that since she already had her high school diploma, she wanted to start taking classes at junior college.

I really don't think she has any peers in her category.
To me, the most powerful thing she said was how they killed J.J., slowly by taking away everything that mattered the most to him in the world. That's even more heartbreaking than the murder itself. The fact that he suffered for months without his dad, without his dog, without his sister, without everything, he knew, including the school he loved. RIHP JJ, Tylee, Tammy.and Charles.
That isn't mental illness that is CALCULATING cruelty and EVIL...
YES! Why did they feel the need to torture the kids? Killing is one thing. But slowly torturing...why?

Kay’s statement broke my heart. So much was taken from her/them.
Glad she brought up Lori selling JJ beloved therapy dog being sold on the internet. That she got caught because the dog was under contract to be returned. That shows how Lori really is and also part of her plans to be this free person again. Calculating and Evil.

Had Charles been a woman- and made the statements he did, they would have given him a lot more advice than the did Charles. I have put in over 1700 hours in Domestic Violence- there is a Mental Abuse side of it!

So heart-breaking! Kay & Larry’s clear-sighted strength & courage have been the driving force to bring the evil Lori/Chad to justice. Much love & respect to them! And thanks to the jury & judge for rendering appropriate justice of life - life - life… too bad the death penalty was taken off the table because LVD certainly deserves the death penalty. It’s not enough, but at least there is some justice for Tyler, JJ, & Tammy. Now, justice for Charles!

Yes the big question is “what kind of man would JJ have become?” “What kind of woman would Tylee have become?” Lori’s selfishness has deprived them of becoming amazing people!! But Lori gets to live in prison with a fan club who believe she is directly connected to Jesus through claiming she had an NDE during Tylee’s birth. This was Chad’s plan to gain followers through claiming he had an NDE. All false of course!!! Claim to fame!! She was right when she said Chad rode on the coat tails of his wife’s success and then Lori’s. These women were His own ticket for a free financial ride.

Narcissists never admit they are wrong. Lori is not mentally ill. She stated excuses, lies, and fantasies to cover her obvious crimes and lies. She made those statements to intentionally hurt the families of the dead once again.

let's hope Arizona gives her the death penalty now that her record isn't spotless. NOW she has 5 life sentences, 2 Murders, 3 Conspiracy to commit murder charges, Fraud, etc etc... so when they take her and try her for Charles' death let's pray that judge sends her to meet her maker. I think I would rather her be tortured and tormented, and, grow grotesquely old in detainment..this I believe, will affect her more...the masses will get to occasionally see her pitiful aging and development of a true mental illness from years of abuse by others I hope

I swear listening to this always makes my eyes well up... the destruction that Lori and Chad had done is just so evil... I'm sure they have to live in their delusion because if they realized how awful they are they would wish death... I'm just so sad for all the dozens of people they both have severely impacted.

I said it before and I still believe that as long as Lori believes she’s in the right that she will be able to live each day. When life in prison becomes reality and even with therapy, her mind will become her prison. Years will go on and each day is getting closer to a lifetime of no hope. Putting one’s self and your own wants and desires will always have a price to pay. You can’t run away from yourself. Also there will be no Chad to go to. When you’re alone it’s a very lonely place to be. The people who once loved you are gone.
Lori will do great in prison. Female prisons are so soft. It's Chad thats going to have a rough time.
I think reality will soon begin for Lori. Her beloved prophet of a husband has turned on her. Now ...in that moment a dose of reality will come to her about killing her family off for a man who fed her the most delusional story and she foolishly blindly believed him. That will be Lori's karma , knowing her husband is nothing but a liar who sold her into murdering her own babies. That's Karma ... everyday she will have to sit with the truth .. her husband the prophet claims manipulation against her . This woman truly believed everything chad sold her. Up until the very end. Never once , shifting blame on her husband. How I would love to be a fly on the wall when the realization sets in ... and finally she realizes her children were not dark or possessed, her husband Charles was not crazy but a simple manipulation in God's name provoked her to bury her baby's in a back yard like their were dogs for a man who quickly shifted blame on her. That's the true definition of Karma coming back around full circle...
I love how throughout her statement Judge Boyce continually looks to Lori for any type of reaction. He sees a monster like we all do!

When Kay is talking about Tylee and JJ the love they had for each other as siblings.
SHE is the hero of the day. If not for HER, who else would have died. I can think of two. She lost a grandson and a blood brother. She held herself with as much dignify as she could muster having hit that brick wall over and over again about “Lori, WHERE ARE THE KIDs!” The victims thank you. The potential victims owe you their lives and the sanctimonious murderers should have been handed the ticket to Heaven since that’s where she stated she wants to be. Is that a suicide watch BS to the court? She is costing poor Idaho taxpayers a lifetime of living expenses. What a waste of taxpayer money and flesh, albeit someone who talks to Jesus and he talks to her. Everyone talks to her from there. Oh how I wish she’d have gotten her passage.
(PS : she talk to her hired henchman brother in Heaven? Doubtful. That should scare her.)
Judge Boyce is an exemplary jurist and most notably human. His patience over a justifiable lengthy impact statement was heartwarming. His attentiveness to each and every memory and stabbing pain that poured from Kay’s shattered heart was evident as he recorded copious notes throughout. All the while taking darting glances at the defendant in search for the slightest sense of humanity. His disgust over objections to the words of a grieving grandmother spoke loudly. His kind smiles as Kay struggled to find her closing thoughts further cemented his human side. Finally, his sentencing was absolutely the greatest outcome that we could have hoped for and the fact he didn’t wish Lori “good luck” as is often done just before being carted away to a new and deserved existence. God Bless you, Judge Boyce and Godspeed!!
I don't think I could have held it together like Kay did. My heart says she had Tylee, and JJ on her shoulder giving her the strength to honor them. Tylee, JJ and Tammy have left a impression on this world and I hope their lights will always shine. Larry and Kay, you are in my prayers and I especially pray for strength as you now turn your attention to AZ.
How Kay kept her composure during her impact statement is beyond me. She and her husband have lost so much. She is the keeper of the memories of Charles, JJ and Tylee.

Kay did a beautiful job showing us what a brilliant, funny, energetic little boy JJ was. I listened to Lori’s sister speak about Tylee and I feel that I know them much better. I wish the world wasn’t robbed of two beautiful, gentle souls. Larry and Kay should know that we see how they fought for their grandson. They never gave up on him and they put the investigation in motion. I will always think of Larry and Kay and hope they can find whatever healing they can. They fought for their grandson and they brought him justice ❤❤❤❤❤
Lori kept quiet during the trial and now that she was convicted and found guilty on all charges, her lawyer is making noise to destruct impact statement of the victims... monster...
In my opinion, there should be no objections or special consideration for Lori. Let this woman say whatever she needs to say with NO interruptions! Pathetic lawyer! Hopefully Lori has a miserable life in prison as a nobody, only as the evil person she truly is deprived of peace, joy and of all the special attention she craves.

Knowing how others rule their courtroom … this darling loving great women, mother/grandmother Should never have to thank anyone to be be able to speak on the grief that monster has caused. Tylees beautiful aunt Annie should have been able to speak too. Family comes in many many forms. So to pick and choose what family means to this court room this state appals me….. and truly gives me great pride of where I call home.
Now to understand why a loving man who was in the role of father grandfather uncle and friend wouldn’t be able to speak that day. just reminds me just how much the whole legal system involved in this case has SEVERELY FAILED a man we all feel a great deal of respect and love for. Witness Impact Statements should NOT be edited or objected to. Very unprofessional and disrespectful.
