I just moved to Rathdrum last week and I really enjoy your informative videos. I’m just curious, do you ever see any dangerous animals on those trails that you go to? I have three year old twins that I’d like to take hiking with me but I’m extra cautious of any potential danger. Thank you

Thanks Carlmj16. And yes, but it’s very rare. Best thing to do is go to North40 and pick up some bear spray. Easy to carry with you and will deter pretty much anything you spray it with.

Thats awful all the home developments going on their. Use to be a lumber mill on the other side of the Spokane street Bridge, now it is sht condo's, never had to pay to get into the park, now it is all fenced off and they charge you to enter. We use to jump off the bridge in the summer, go over to the one way behind the big Dam and jump of it and the surrounding cliffs. Use to go swim behind the Dam we called the 3rd channel and swim and fish behind it. As a child that was my fishing heaven around there, caught alot of yellow perch infront of the Dams and some good size rainbows and cutthroat behind the big Dam. From my house I could cut through the woods, pass treaty rock and head down to the river, many fond memories their. Now I live in N.Florida and have witnessed the beachfront here where there was many options to access the ocean to go surfing or just have a nice beach day without the big crowds all become condo's, good way to destroy a place fast, condo's on any water front should be outlawed.

Awesome, I’m gonna move here! I’m from Seattle born and raised but the beautiful city is going to crap. It’s gonna be nice to be welcomed to a state with more common sense but same north west feel. Postfalls will be perfect, right between Spokane and CDA

I've lived in Post Falls since 2013 and it's like living in a strip mall. The only thing it has going for it, IMO, is cheap rent along with easy access to I-90 to go east to CDA or west to Spokane in a hurry. Strip development at it's worse and now with the widening of SR 41, it's just going to get worse, is already getting worse. If I didn't have family obligations holding me in the area, I'd be gone in a heartbeat, tho not sure where I'd go. Montana, most likely, maybe Wyoming or Utah, also looking into BC, Canada...

I lived there for a couple of decades. Post Falls has definitely not had the city planning needed to compete with the surrounding towns. But a lot of people like it and hopefully they see the writing on the wall and start planning for the future.

My niece & fam moved 2018. We moved 2021. Unreal how much development in CDA, post falls & rathdrum. Any vacant lot wont be vacant long. They are selling off all the farm land for homes built very close to each other.
I would have loved to be here 30 years ago - stunning and inexpensive. Everything here is going straight up in price. What a shame.

OMG. Just saw this after the Liberty Lake and Spokane Valley videos. Been keeping this drinking game going, and this video’s trigger was “Post Falls” 🥴. First of all, we love all the information! Second, where is your hitman? He has some solid input! Third, we’ve been taking baby sips, and we still needed refills. Fourth, how many miles have you guys logged recoding these videos? If we move out there, can we sit down for a coffee or should we expect to walk a few miles? Fifth, we started (unintentionally) mixing the videos together, and now all of our “triggers” are blending together (i.e. Liberty Lake, Spokane Valley, etc.). We’ve decided to stop watching any more videos tonight but we’re excited for more! Cheers! 🥴🍻

Kevin (my hitman 🤣) wasn’t available that day so I had to go solo. Probably 100 (miles) but yes, we can sit down for coffee. They are meant to be binged, but yeah, the blending is real. Tomorrow drops our first of several Sandpoint video so keep an eye out.
