This was my second time I watched A7X live. I was 11/12 at the time, I burst into tears as soon as the first song played! I'll never forget watching the Rev for the last show he ever played. It was immense.

I think it's amazing that this was the last song Jimmy every played and this was uploaded before he died, but the band never changed the title to reflect it was their last show with him. True respect for their friend right there not to change the title for cheap views. Let the finale speak for itself.

@@internetguy9531 Yes it was their last show ever with him period, Rock on the Range was the last show they ever played with him here in the US, but that was in May of 2009 and this was in August. Sonisphere was the last show of that tour supporting the self-titled album before they officially came off the road and started writing Nightmare, you've just got your dates all mixed up dude

The way Syn's solos are always EXACTLY like the studio recording, or better, but never any short cuts or wrong notes.
If you haven't seen it and you love A7X, you should find the rev playing Almost Easy just the drums in the studio. Very unique sound without other insturments.

I have to say. There's a Guitar Hero flag waiving in the audience. I never would've ever expected that. Might be a sponsorship deal, but Guitar Hero and Rock Band brought me the love of music as an outsider Zoomer. Music, in any form, truly is the uniter of humanity.

Shadows is one of the greatest vocalists on the planet. Period.
I really like how Matt sounded during this show and this song specifically. Might've been because they had been playing a string of shows over the last few days, which has proven to mess up his voice, but he did great. Sucks that this was the last time that Jimmy ever performed in front of a crowd, but he went out with a bang imo despite being noticeably slower with his playing. Just kinda sad at the same time though because you can tell from the look in his eyes that he knew in his mind it would be his last show and that to him, he didn't have much time left.
