I haven’t tried either of those, but I’m aware of them. I’ll have to give them a try! They seem to be basically the same thing as quinoa, which I love. I think I’ll still prefer to mix things up with the oats and beans though. Especially beans. They have a different nutrient profile than the “ancient grains”, and are a less glamorous, but truly marvelous unsung hero of the superfoods, so I’ll keep including them liberally in my meals. I also find the availability and cost of the oats and beans to be a point in their favor, and the seeds you mentioned aren’t necessarily quicker to cook. All in all, it’s good to try new things so I’m excited to explore, and also continue with the tried and true. 😊
Beans screwed up my gut. Please be careful with overconsumption of beans. Should be balanced with rice to make them more safe to eat. Not sure of the science why. Many many lectins, and not all bodies deal well with that aspect of legumes.
I’ve had a different experience with beans. They have improved everything from my weight to brain fog. While it’s true that all bodies are different, the things I’ve studied point to huge benefits, generally. I see from your TH-cam channel that you follow a carnivore diet? I hope that works well for you. My own studies and experience have moved me in a different direction. 😊
Thank you for sharing this idea.
Thank you for commenting. 😊. I hope it helps!
What a great idea! I'm happy you popped up in my feed, subscribed! 😊
Thank you!! ☺️
Just buy kiwicha and kaniwa powder and make a traditional andean cereal. No need for oats or beans. Way more protein and energy.

Can't hear you
Thanks for the feedback. We’ll try to improve!
Need to speak a little louder, coming from someone who is not hard of hearing. ❤
