Hi fiend! Hitting your breaking point? Now that really IS something we have in common, and man oh man…….. I like to say “my cup has been overflowing for so long, it’s at the bottom of the Mariana Trench” 😂😭
Listening about that asshole manager and thinking about my friends, who give me free black coffee just cuz a year ago I was their colleague (baristas in that coffee shop has unlimited access to it)
Dude. There is no way "Rebecca" has any friends. She might be a robot. She may also be a danger, just like that poor guy. Maybe she was jealous of him!
I get what you're saying and I absolutely agree. I would've given the coffee, too. However, I do also get where that girl's mindset might have been at with her actions. She was young and not in charge, so she probably jumped to "I might get in trouble". Hopefully, she didn't have ill intentions, though you never really know!
I do too! I give her grace, I know she is young and maybe inexperienced in these sort of situations. I suppose I just always err on the side of humans + kindness, versus prioritizing money 🤍
At that point though I would of bought the man the coffee if I was that scared of getting trouble for giving him a free coffee. And as someone who works at a coffee shop aswell we end up wasting a lot of our drip coffee anyway
@ambie2024 Me, too. I actually had a very sweet elderly couple who would come in to eat when I used to wait tables. They'd split a steak dinner and the ass wipe who owned the pub would demand a $1 fee... to literally split food in half. We weren't adding anything to it and they didn't even ask us to do the physical splitting! We bring an extra plate then they would do the rest. My 22 year old self said "Hell, no. I'm NOT making them pay for this." I got caught and in trouble to which I threw my apron at the jerk, leaving while telling him where he could stick it 😅
So ridiculous that she didn’t have awareness for the situation at hand. She definitely doesn’t have much compassion. Not going to lose your job over a $5 cup of coffee ☕️ What an a-hole. 10:50
I feel bad for that lil guy….at the same time I sorta get not wanting to give things away for free, especially if you don’t even get treated well, but kindness is so important, I think I would have just taken it out of my own pay check. But then again, I’m a pretty shy person, I don’t know if I would have been successful at helping. ):
I can’t believe you said this! I literally recorded a Whiskey Sour video earlier today!!! Everyone has been telling me to include more cocktails/mocktails on my channels! 😆
I feel like this has been one heck of a year for everyone. Get ready for the next one though, it’s gonna be wild. Stay on your toes and go with the flow. There’s nothing but change as many slow planets move into new signs. Best wishes that the changes bring the most positive change to everyone reading this! 🎉
For some reason my one comment was deleted!? Maybe TH-cam didn’t like how I worded it, so- As someone who was one thinking of 💀 myself……. If I went into a business, asked for help, and then asked for a small drink, and they looked at me and said “mhmm, no!” ………….. I’d have looked her in the eye, walked out……… and I don’t know what I’d have done next, but, it wouldn’t have been good
Wow. That must have been hard. I'm glad you decided to stick around instead. Nuero-divergent story to express empathy incoming: My hair stylist had a walk in client who wanted the full monty: cut, color, conditioning treatment everything. The client off-hand mentioned how down they were feeling and my stylist talked the client through finding the bright moments in life etc. The client had a plan for their final exit from life and the trip to the salon was kind of the last thing on their bucket list to treat themself. The client decided not to go through with it and came back to the salon to thank my stylist.
I'm a teacher. I work at Starbucks. I'm taking 2 classes to keep my teaching license. To say I'm unwell right now is an understatement. 😅
Sending so much love ❤️

Oh right, the RED FLAG coffee shop.
The one that SHALL NAWTTT be named

Rebecca why? It is a small black coffee
My thoughts exactly
You are such a VIBEEEEEEEE
😭😭😭🤎🤎🤎
No drinks?! No tip pool?! Oh hell no…
And a 10 min break after 4 HOURS. THAT’s ridiculous.
You know what? Hell no.

And if you *did* lose your job over a $5 coffee… probably not somewhere you wanna work anyway 🥲
Not forgetting that coffee probably actually only cost the store about 30cents 😢

I wouldn't say "a lot" but there are some
I remember the “Rebecca” story oooh I should go home lol😂
I see that you have barware in your kitchen, you should make cocktails for your channel as well. You’d be great at that too. 😀
I can’t believe you said this! I literally recorded a Whiskey Sour video earlier today!!! Everyone has been telling me to include more cocktails/mocktails on my channels! 😆

Best wishes to you too, friend 🤍
I see you and raise you a shift lead “correction w her dog” voice followed by prolonged laughter. Should have walked out then.
“That would be my 13th reason” ooh Rebecca F this place 🎉
Ok. I might not have all my facts straight. Did you work for “that large chain” and then go to another coffee shop mentioned in this video? Thanks.
Yes! Worked at chain for 3 yrs and then local for 2 :)
@ Wow. Interesting.
this video could have been an x /twitter post. dsgruntled man needs help walks in coffee shop, gets denied free coffee by a childish manager...
RIP real Twitter 😭
I worked at a cat cafe that also didn't do breaks. Big yikes
Chicago 🎉
REPRESENT
This is supposed to be a "crazy story"?? You guys should live one day in my life 😂
I would consider a mental health crisis a pretty "crazy situation" actually. That is objectively a pretty big deal my guy

Literally what I mean. One act of kindness can change everything. I wish he would’ve asked me instead of her 😭
Wow. That must have been hard. I'm glad you decided to stick around instead.
