Please react to their 1989 concert. Songs are Master of Puppets, The 4 Horsemen, The Thing that Should Not Be, or Fade to Black! All are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G, epic songs!!!
No no different singer it’s always been James Hetfield. The guitarist is also the same Kirk Hammett, funny enough he is the older of them all, but until recently looked like the baby in the band. It’s just the way he ages, he just have good genes and a baby face.
Great reaction. I've seen them perform this song twice; first time was in Ft Lauderdale FL 1999 and my son took me for Mother's Day the second time in Oklahoma City in 2004. If you EVER get the chance to see them live, DO IT! I'd crawl over broken glass to see them again. 🤘Rock On!🤘
“Disposable Heroes” live in Mexico 2009, “Damage Inc.” live in London 2017 or “Master of Puppets” live in Manchester 2019 played flawlessly in pouring rain in front of 75,000 fans 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘🤘. Metallica has rocked the world for 40 years…..Living LEGENDS and TITANS
Only member of the band to change the bass player twice. Jason took over from cliff after his sad death and then Rob took over from Jason. All the rest are OG
Love to see your reaction to Alice In Chains with Layne Stayle. He left this earth way too early, but was in a very dark place so I can understand. Just so very sad. Anyway, his voice is just of the charts amazing. I've never been a huge metal head, but something about him just melted me. In my opinion best videos were their MTV Live where it's just their acoustics and being able to hear the depth of his voice. He was pretty f'd up, but sung the crap out of all that he sung. I hope he has finally found peace. I think you will be floored by his vocals and the way he makes it appear so effortless. Thank you in advance for doing one, two, ten, of their songs.
Song is about soldiers who come back from war worse off and would rather die then stay alive. Yes James hetfield the lead singer has been there from the start.
Only the Bass player change 1st Cliff Burton died in bus accident in Sweden 2nd is Jason Newsted he left Metallica in 2002... 3rd is Robert Trujillo fill in in 2003 - Present! Oh im sorry the original Lead Guitarist of Metallica is Dave Mustain of Megadeth and he is been kick from the group and change by Kirk the reaper Hammet from the band Exodus... And hes a half Filipino.. A Metallica fan since 1988!!!!!
Please react to Metallica from 1989 Seattle concert! Either Master of Puppets, The 4 Horsemen, The Thing that Should Not Be, or Fade to Black! Any of those from that concert will blow you away!!! You're really missing out if you don't!!!! Tysvm!! I love your reactions, you're so funny and entertaining! It comes naturally for you, I can tell!!
I think you might like Avenged Sevenfold they have a song called Backcountry Beast and the Harlot and seize the day and there's another group I think you might like called Linkin Park In the End numb and crawling
If by "he looks younger" you mean the bassist then yes he is way younger, he's Robert Trujillo and he replaced Jason Newsted around 2002. They had other setups but that was way back and always on the bass. And Mustaine on the guitar. As a Metallica fan though I always feel their golden age (at least live) was on Newsted was with them. IMO their live shows started when Newsted left although many hits weren't written with him on the band.
For future reference Lead singer/Rhythm Guitarist-James Hetfield, Lead Guitarist-Kirk Hammett, Drums- Lars Ulrich, Bass Guitar- (1981-86) Cliff Burton (1986-2001) Jason Newsted (2003-Now) Robert Trujillo
Ok, who else saw Metallica in the small clubs in L.A. and San Fran? Anybody? FYI, their older stuff is better in MY opinion. Don't hate on me, I'm just old school.
Too bad you chose a live version. Metallica was never a excellent live band, but if you're going to watch any thing live with them, choose something from before 1994. Even if they didn't play that accurate, the high energy made them fun to see anyway. But after that James started to sing like a sailor with a country music complex and Lars's drum skills started to deteriorate.
And because he actually learned how to sing, he's still able to after 40 years of Metallica, instead of blowing out his vocal cords like he would have if he hadn't learned proper technique.
Nothing worse than someone who thinks learning how to sing properly to preserve the voice is a wrong move, yeah would you rather he blow his voice never to sing again?
@@sonicone99 No. He literally change the vocal style... he now SINGS the definition of "sing" is what he does now... look at extreme metal vocalists, there's a way to scream and do crazy things with your voice without damaging it...
What we doing next?

James Hetfield is Metallica. There cant be Metallica without him

Yep, same line up from Moscow except for the bassist. Next up please react to Metallica "Battery" live in Seattle 1989. It's a face melter
Awesome!
At thier concerts? Those flames on stage are so hot you can feel the heat.

The video to the song is very informative it really explains about the song
So does reading the lyrics rather than yapping over them.

I can assure that is James and if James ever left there would be no more Metallica.
Same singer, drummer and guitarist, Kirk plays guitar and is a VERY health conscience person.
You gotta react to Metallica- disposable hero’s! Also love your channel man!! Love from Canada

Kirk is the oldest. Yes , same singer. Technically the fourth bassist at this point.
Fifth Bassist actually
Ron McGovney
Cliff Burton
Jason Newsted
Bob Rock
Robert Trujillo
@@DD-373 Bob recorded on St. Anger true that but did McGovney make it outta the garage? Did he record on the Megaforce album? Not sure.
@@srt8rocketship241 he was on No Life Till Leather

He’s only two years younger than James...
They’re all the same members besides the Bassist Rob Trujillo who took Jason Newsteds spot in the early 2000’s

This is beyond filth
Il n y a que 2 hommes qui ne sont pas remplacable dans ce groupe,James et Lars. Alors oui c est le meme et meme a 60 ans James chante mieux que jamais

I dont reccomend you new metallica lives because james usually sings like a lady from 1993 to now (he literally learned how to sing with lesson)
What a moronic statement.
And because he actually learned how to sing, he's still able to after 40 years of Metallica, instead of blowing out his vocal cords like he would have if he hadn't learned proper technique.
