Hi, I'm wondering if you could please elucidate when the term Taonga Puoro came into use? As I understand it in the 1800's and before Taonga means property. Hongi Hika referenced to Taonga as property obtained by the spear more specifically. Highly prized property in this context is not the same as something being a general "treasure".
