New mixing plugins such as Ozone 11 or many other plugins balance all tracks now. So pink or white noise is the old way of doing it. But everyone has their own system of how to do it. So keep doing what's best for you. 👍👍👍

I agree there are easier ways, however, I will take his method over having the plugins do it; it's all about the imperfections when we humans perform certain tasks that make the results unique and special. Also, the ear training benefits of using his method are significant in music production.

Using pink noise is just one of the many ways. But it is good to try to use your own ears to find what you like. But you also have to look at not Everyone can afford to buy the AI plugins. That's not saying there no good.. 🙏
