I just noticed, the scene where they're watching Longlegs's interrogation, when he says "And you'll be there...", "...and you'll be there...", "...and you'll be there!" he looks at Lee, Det. Browning, and Det. Carter as though he knew where they'd be standing in the room. All the scarier too because Ruth would end up killing Det. Browning, Det. Carter would become possessed and kill his wife, and Lee would have to kill Carter. Such brilliant details in this film.
I know the paste or powder he bought is used on either his face as concealer or it's used for his dolls. But I'm still wondering why he was buying earplugs.
Him lurking and failing to sway an underage girl and then being annoyed at her reaction in the car home so subtle and disgusting. Awesome horror and acting by Cage ❤
The acting and camera work were the highlight of the film. Nick always brings it! The scariest scene for me is the main character thinking he’s at her house. Her acting was outstanding too. Other than that…. It’s a eh from me. Love the mystery and the suspense on some parts. It felt like a good mystery book from the no sleep subreddit. And also a bit of comedy/camp in there. But overall not scary lol just another devil movie to add to the other billion that came out recently.
When I first saw the hardware store scene I thought it was funny....now rewatching it I find it sad. She had no idea what he was and what he was doing just referred to him as 'gross' because he was strange looking. No wonder he threw a meltdown in the car afterwards!
@@janesgems7 A smaller child I would have no problem calling my little angel. Or a teenage girl that I know reasonably well. But you have to admit it's not apropriate when you don't know her and she is almost an adult.
I want a prequel. They kept Longlegs a mystery basically the entire film and I want more. Cage killed it!
It would work too, he apparently looked the same for decades in the world of the movie
@@Madmetalmaniac42069 I actually think he looked a lot younger at the beginning, his face was smoother.
Yes he does look younger in the 1974 flashbacks. They captured his age difference really good.
no prequel, the mystery is what makes him so creepy
I think making a prequel ruins alot of the point of the character. He’s just not human. His story isn’t meant for telling. He simply is.
I don't care what anyone else thinks I still believe the opening sequence of this film is one of the scariest things I've ever watched.
It amazes me how Cage changes the tone of his voice, from low to almost a shriek.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed this.
Clever how they switch from the doll face on the table to Kobble's real....and weary - face, as if hinting that he too was just a puppet.
Just like in The Fall by Tarsem Singh that transition 🙌🏼
He should get an oscar nomination
Imagine not loving this film. Can't relate.
That opening was freaky as fuuuuck!
longlegs is the most iconic movie character in a very long time and it will be proven years from now
The androgyny adds to the creepiness so much
This film was terrifying. LOVED IT.
Nicolas Cage steals this movie
That fbi agent who said "Sir? Imma need to get down on the fucking ground" is so hammy its cringe. But i love the film.
Hammy?
I mean he’s frustrated as hell looking for him.
@@fulcrum6760 I suppose he would be. That wasn't a hard criticism of the film. I thought it was an excellent movie ✌🏻
@@MissNurseNoir Plus he kills children. Of course he’d be mad. A lot of officers and agents(and people) get mad when kids get harmed.
@fulcrum6760 Fair enough.
this is Korea😂🎉❤. i love it.
i just watched this yesterday
it is 5th of Dec.
Finally realised who his voice reminded me of - Emo Phillips!
Beatrix Osgood has a future...she made an impression in just five minutes.
I only wish there were more of him in the movie.
Movie would’ve been better if he was in it more
I know the paste or powder he bought is used on either his face as concealer or it's used for his dolls. But I'm still wondering why he was buying earplugs.
My guess is either, he’s a sensitive listener, or
Perhaps to listen less on the outside and more to the voices in his head?
For Ruthie
TYSM!!
@@hariixp you are very welcome 🫡

He wasn't that type of freak.
YOU JUST SAVED MY TIME!!
Ms Doubtfire 😂
Like Mrs Doubtfire and The Joker had a baby
THANK YOUUUU

The worst thing about the existence of the Internet is the fact that because of it, I know that there are people on this Earth who find Longlegs sexy.
he is sexy wdym
Not sexy just relatable.
@ I can’t tell if that’s better or worse 😂
Me
Sorry but i just cant take nics voice seriously

Hey Carrie Anne, what's your game....
Now. Can anybody play?
When I first saw the hardware store scene I thought it was funny....now rewatching it I find it sad. She had no idea what he was and what he was doing just referred to him as 'gross' because he was strange looking. No wonder he threw a meltdown in the car afterwards!
An old guy calling a teenage girl he doesn't know " little angel " deserves to be called gross.
@@augustusmaximus11 Sad indictment of society today.

@@augustusmaximus11 What is appropriate these days?
@@augustusmaximus11 you people seriously have this discussion, the movie is about satanic possession.
Dale Kobble is too cheesy of a name. They should just call him Da Kobb.
I love Nic. But this is awful.
The opening scene almost gave me a heart attack lol. It's a shame the rest of the movie was so disappointing
Small attention span lol
