This is definitely Alicent’s theme hands down! It encapsulates her sad, manipulated, and lonely childhood and later on finding herself and doing what she believes has to be done for the survival of her house.
That just captures the tragedy of Alicent's character perfectly, thank you! Even though I'm Team Black, I still feel for her and don't see her as a villain per se, but rather a victim of her circumstances and experiences. Many don't understand that unfortunately
Ramin Djawadi does it again. It really adds an air of tragedy to Alicent and the Hightower clan, especially if you know the outcome of the Dance of the Dragons.

@@communistcomputergod6449 I liked Viserys' walk scene, but it wasn't best moment of the season in any sense. He was literally peddled to walk to the throne without the milk of the poppy which left him vulnerable to immense pain, and may have ultimately led to his imminent demise. I like them both, but Rhaenyra and Daemon were primarily there for their objectives. The only person in the room who genuinely looked concerned for his well being was his wife. Then, again, the whole season is based on misunderstandings, and it doesn't surprise me that even the audience ignores the stuff that might question their sense of morality. Alicent walking in a room full of high lords wearing a green dress was an indication that the "war is on".
I love how the two best scenes from Season 1 are character entrances; Alicent here and King Viserys in ep8. No epic battle or anything, it's all in the subtlety and the emotion conveyed by the musics
