Oversimplified history of German nationals. To the extent that it is false at many details.
For example the slavs entered the Germanic homeland in the 6th century. The Germans have a long history of cohabitation. In Czechoslovakia they have been the second largest ethnic group, larger than the Slovaks. Calling them settlers is definitely false. Also the term Sudetenland is coined by the Munich agreement, not based on an existing region. Ethnonationalism is a way of thinking of the time of Napoleon and did not make sense before for the various empires and states. But the German national idea is that Germany is the land where the Germans live. That does not include the various parts where Germans settled, like Transylvania, Banat or the Wolga Republic. Greater Germany refers to Austria as it was excluded in 1871.

They cared more about their historical significance than their actual value, but that should only be said about the Russo-Finnish Territories.
On the other hand, Norway's western ambitions is where the actual economic value comes. They wanted to reach full control over the North Sea, thus you see they claimed Iceland, Greenland, the Feroes, even the Shetlands. These lands may sound obscure, uninhabited and useless, but the one who controls them controls an entire sea that surrounds them. And remember, the one who rules the waves always turns out stronger than the master of the land.

I am not pro-Russia or Russian invasion before anyone tries me here, this is just established fact. Examples: 22 June 1941 - 140 Pograms broke out killing 1500-3500 Jewish civilians, and in Volhynia, it is established fact that he massacred polish civilians. This is just the start. I understand he is an important figure to the foundation of modern Ukraine, but Andrew Jackson too is an important figure to the USA, and it would be historically irresponsible to deny the Trail of Tears.

Agreed! Great video, but completely missed the Black Sea Germans and Mennonites of Ukraine. There were 1 million Germans living there since the Cossack clearances by Catherine the Great in the late 1700s. Germans were invited to settle en masse and farm the land with guarantees of religious freedom, tax emption, and conscription exemption. They lived there for almost 200 years. During Operation Barbarossa they were recruited into the Wehrmacht, SS, and self defense militias. They spoke Russian, had previous military experience in the Red Army, and were resentful of the Soviets. Prior to WW2, the Communists had confiscated their lands, imprisoned them in labour camps and gulags, equally suffered the Holodomor with Ukrainians, and were heavily targeted via de-kulakization and the Great Purge. During the USSR’s counter offensive in the East, the Nazis uprooted them under the Heim ins Reich program to Poland. Some made it to West Germany after the war, then onward to the Great Plains of the US and the Prairies of Canada. Those trapped behind Soviet lines were forcibly deported to Central Asian republics like Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. After the fall of the Iron Curtain, the German government granted Soviet Germans the right to citizenship.

Estonians were ranked highest, then Latvians, finally Lithuanians. Much of this was based on how much German blood was already present in these regions from previous Teutonic conquests. As Estonia and Latvia had the most Germanic admixture, they were to be Germanized. Most of Lithuania would have been deported to Eastern frontiers or turned into slave labor if general plan ost was to be enacted.
Regardless, considering how insignificant and small the Baltic states are, I doubt the Germans would have spent their time looking at which village was more German and so on.

It's worth noting to elaborate your point - the entire concept of the Holocaust and related extermination campaigns was just a more "active eugenics" program that mirrored other western countries conducting their own Eugenics programs like in the USA. The difference between the US's program vs Germany's was that the US was content with Passive Eugenics; sterilization and patiently wait out the time period in which a group of people would "naturally" be rendered extinct by virtue of aging, dying and unable to reproduce.
The Nazis took a more active and impatient program of direct eugenics - systemically murdering vast swathes of populations rapidly exterminating people in years, not decades.

If you decide to do a part 2, one concept I think you should look into is the Greater Germanic Reich, and how they may have invaded Sweden. Another concept should be the Mittelafrika, and how Germany would structure Africa. And another concept should be what they would’ve done with Spain, Portugal, Iran, Turkey, and Afghanistan, since they weren’t under the effective sphere of influence. And lastly, if they had plans for continents outside the Afro-Eurasian landmass, and what they may have done with them. Those are just some suggestions.

    • @landontodd2393
      @landontodd2393 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@Norg1 South Africa was actually going to be an independent country, albeit one that answers directly to Berlin, and does what they say. Germany probably did at first want South Africa to remain part of Britain so that they can be a reliable ally, but Germany’s Mittelafrika claimed parts of Britain, and so did Italy. Japan also wanted British territory in East Asia, so even if Germany never really wanted to claim their territory, it’s likely since other countries wanted them, Germany would see no point in keeping the British Empire intact, and would allow South Africa to be independent. If that were the case, then they would’ve probably decided to unite Britain in the Greater Germanic Reich. And with Spain and Portugal, I’m not too sure about them uniting, as they had nationalist governments that likely wouldn’t be fond of taking their identity, but Germany may have wanted them to unite to create a strong ally.

Would be better if you used a drawing of a Northen Berber(or noble caste Tuareg) who make up the big majoirity instead of a Inadan caste Tuareg(are originally not Berber)
The Berber phenotypes, the Berberid & Canarid phenotype are considerd mediterranean, the Hamite hypothesis was mostly rejected
However Berbers in general like the Italians were for majoirity not Aryan, however Alfred Rosenberg did saw pockets of Kabyle Berbers as Aryan, and some scholars also saw pockets of Middle Atlas, Aures and Rif Berbers as Aryan

Well if americans know history they already know that the USA was selling weapons and munitions to both the allies and axis. The americans believed they could sit on the sidelines and profit off both sides, what they failed to realise is that if Europe had fallen then the USA would have fallen as well. The USA would be fighting wars on both sides, the west is the japanese and the east is the nazis, both armies being battle hardened, they would have swept across the USA like a rash meeting in the middle.

This author is a little biased. Ukrainians saw the Nazis as liberators, particularly in the western part. Stepan Bandera and his followers collaborated with the Nazis, even slaughtering 500k Poles and Jews in the hope that the Nazis would grant Ukraine autonomy, which the Nazis denied and imprisoned Stepan.
Furthermore, the Nazis see Poles as the starting point for Asia, and a mixture of Slavs, Balts, and Mongols. As the Nazis referred to Ukrainians as inferior subhumans, Asiatic ppl & even called them as "niggers." This video only emphasizes that the Russians were the only ones classified as Asians. Actually Nazis describe Slavic Russians to have 25-30% Nordic, but the further east in Russia, the more Asiatic in appearance.

@@noldo3837 Aryanization, killing or deporting an entire ethnic group because they were inferior and colonizing their lands was not on the Soviet agenda. The Soviet agenda is that every ethnicity within the Soviet Union is equal and will work as one. There was also the Soviet attempt to eradicate blondes, which was diametrically opposed to Nazi ideology

That's not true, Bandera and other nationalists had nothing to do with Ukrainian Waffen SS. Also, Bandera was not a Nazi collaborator, it was another person (Andriy Melnik) while Bandera was arrested by Nazis and put to prison.

I was able to visit Hitler's Eagle Nest Resort in Berchtesgaden. Once you've stood on that deck and experienced the awesome beauty of Königssee Lake, you'll know why Hitler wanted to control the world.

@@ShadowDragon1848 English is the lingua franca of our time, so they don't need to learn a second language and the result is that we get shit like this.
My biggest gripe with the mispronunciation of the word 'Volk' is when Nationalists on the alternative right use it. Both languages have the same word which is pronounced exactly the same, but written slightly different, and yet they manage to mis-pronounce it.
Another thing I've noticed is that people have started to say 'woman' instead of 'women'. This is worse since it's a grammatical error of their own language.
