I make something similar. I like to coat the potatoes in avocado oil and hot sauce before baking. Also add onions and bell pepper..usually the sweet reds. I also top off with cheese.
@@squirrelyshirley7629 Aww!!! I love to hear that! Glad this inspired you to make your own version to create some happy mealtime memories for your toddler! ❤️
I've been making this quite a bit lately! Used your recipe with the addition of oregano. One time I added green beans...I loved it but my son didn't care for the green beans lol so I didnt put them in after that. Making it again tonight! Thanks for your simple recipe!!!
Haha so true. 💯 My son knows I always give him the bigger portions and he says I shouldn’t worry about that, but of course I’m going to make sure he’s well fed!
You possibly could make something like this in the crock pot, but the texture would be different. The crock pot tends to make things really soft whereas baking things in the oven will make them more toasty. For something like this, I prefer to just do it in the oven to get the right texture on the potatoes and sausage. If you try making it in the crock pot please come back and let me know how it turns out!
Oh wow, feta... I hadn't thought of that! I've also never used the Badia complete seasoning. I'll have to check that out. I know our local Piggly Wiggly sells Badia seasonings.
I would typically do it at 400 or 425°. You’re going to want to stir it around partway through just to make sure that everything is getting browned evenly and then it’s done when you can easily pierce the potatoes with a fork.
If I were cooking this in the skillet, there would be onion, but since this is baked, I skip it. The texture is different. You certainly could add onion if you want! I like a really brown caramelized onion though and you just don't get that with baking something like this. :)
You could do it at any temperature from 350 up to, say, 425. You’ll just be checking on doneness of the potatoes as the primary gauge for when it’s ready.
I make this about once a month but I add onions. Yummy!
I love it with onions too, but my son is not as much of a fan. 😁
Making this tonight for dinner thanks for the help!!
I hope your family enjoy this as much as we do! 😃
Looks yummy! Will definitely be trying this out! Ty. ❤
Oh this is such a good and easy dish. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do! Happy Thanksgiving!

I make ours in the crockpot because I need to cook foods a little softer. You won't get the crispy potatoes in the crockpot, but it tastes good 👍🏻
Do you cook this uncovered
And when do you add the
Olive OIL ?
Uncovered, and I toss the potatoes in a little bit of olive oil.
What temperature did you set your oven? Looks yummy! TFS
I set the oven at 425 and cooked this for about an hour. 🙂 Thanks for watching!
Thank you for asking…
May be silly to make video but I still watched it. lol
Haha, well it's such a good recipe! I'm glad you watched and took time to comment.
I used olive oil and butter. For my seasoning I use Badia complete seasoning. Throw in some feta cheese and done.

What degrees?

what about me?...lol.....thank you!
No onion?

I'd like to add a couple peppers to this
Oh, I know that would be good! My son really doesn't like peppers so I leave them out of most things.
Lady u forgot to say tempeture of oven and how long to keep it in there
You could do it at any temperature from 350 up to, say, 425. You’ll just be checking on doneness of the potatoes as the primary gauge for when it’s ready.
At no point did she say what temperature
You can do this anywhere from 375 to 450. It will just cook quicker at a higher temp, but you'll also need to keep a closer eye on it.
She clearly said 425
All it needs are onions
Too true! That would add an extra bit of deliciousness!
