My name is Everett Menard. While digging in a stream in CT ,I found a bunch of old bottles. 1870's or so. The 1st rwot where Everett's Shoe Dressing and the other ,Menards Liniment. True story. Weird things happen when you have a thirst for this kind of thing. I have many many stories that are almost spooky when it comes to finding things. Like you say almost become psychic when you get obsessed with it.
It's nice to find actual treasures. I recently found a few gold coins in a compact that was wrapped up in some kind of brown oily paper....Nuff Said. 😎🤫

My family also holidayed in the Sierra foothills around Columbia State Park, and we would comb the gold country looking for bottles. I have lived in Australia since 1980 and still add to my collection. Once a bottle addict always a bottle addict. Keep shoveling!

I have felt the same feeling, when i found my gold 5$ coin in marysville. people were just metal detecting in same area, the gold coin was exposed ontop of ground and mystic forces drew me to it 😊. great video brotha, G

Really great episode Ned!👍 I was looking at a rare local soda in a book one time and wondering how the heck I was ever going to get one, then a couple days later a guy calls me out of the blue wanting to trade for something I had and the bott he offers up is the very bottle I was looking at, very rare with only a few known, similar things have happened several times over the years so there is definitely something to this and I'm all for it, you're not crazy Ned,.........well, mostly not.😆🤘
Digging in a toxic waste dump is no joke. Back in the 70s while digging East Coast dumps. We come across large piles of Paris Greene, which is one of the earliest insecticides. We didn't know what it was at the time. And just dug through it. Although we had no symptoms at the time. God knows what it did to us as we got older.
@@BottleNed well I wouldn't say that, I'm 69 years old and a three-time cancer survivor. My bottle digging buddy has had his own health issues. But who knows? Can't say for positive if it was that. And we're both still digging bottles. So we count our blessings and take it day to day . Happy digging good luck. I really like that West Coast glass.

I dug a super crowd pickle with the griffin embossed over on the coast any info would be great cheers
a friend i met who digs bottles like i do promised me a whiskey flask, and i have not seen him in months. i ended up finding my own whiskey flask in a dump
I’ve hade the same experience as you wtffffff because this guy told me about the bottle and showed me a picture of it of a news article back then with a super rare bottle from the town I live in I was told there was an old abandoned house. house in the woods that they dug bottles under, and all I did was pull out one floorboard and stuck my shovel once in the ground and I hit something and I want to scratch at it and I was a blob top and I pulled it out when I was in Conrad stores and I flipped my crap…which the bottle was a squat whiskey bottle really rare
