  • Stayed here for a couple of nights.
Booked a base room for around £116/night and was upgraded to a queen balcony room (probably due to having Diamond status with IHG)
Arrived late so didn't film too much of outside and reception at that time.
Right across the street from the Pilgramgasse U-Bahn station, and 4 stops either way to the station for the airport and Schronbrunn Palace, a popular Vienna tourist attraction. Easy 10 minute walk to Naschmarkt or one stop on the U-Bahn.
Anker coffee shop next door and a few shops including a Billa supermarket around the corner.
Breakfast was included as a status benefit. Nothing special to be honest, and if I had been paying out of my own pocket, I would have gone somewhere else and paid 3-4 euros for a coffee and pastry.
The balcony bit of the room is gimmicky to be honest. Tilt and turn door, which I wouldn't leave open for security reasons as anyone from the outside area could walk straight in. No real separation from neighbouring rooms either, and only the one chair.
Not sure if the aircon works from the wall controls or is controlled by the hotel, but the room wasn't as cool as I would have liked with it being close to 30C outside.
The orange fridge, whilst it seemed to have power as there was a light, had zero cooling ability, so may have been broken.
TV channel wise, pretty much everything was in German. One or two news channels in English and French.
Hotel was happy to store my bag for a few hours after checking out.
