those crane machines are rigged. they are so flimsy they can barely grab anything and if by chance it happens to grab something theres a chance it will just open up before it gets to the drop point
The golden apple thing is not a coincidence. That's how con artists work. They give you small successes at the beginning: "Oh look, that worked, look, it worked again, there's NO way it'll fail now--" and then they run off with your biggest bet yet.
Here's the thing about that, it is required by law, that professional slot machines don't rig outcomes, so the owners that do that are actual criminals.
That's a video I always go back to because I was 100% on board with Dan scolding him for just betting all the money again and again (stopping only by being distracted by fart noises) Then when all hope seems lost, all that built up is paid off. Amazing second hand gambler's rush!
The Gospel: (I am not a bot, I'm just someone who enjoys spreading the gospel. Much love to you all!) The gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for our sins and rose again, eternally triumphant over His enemies, so that there is now no condemnation for those who believe, but only everlasting joy. Peter says in 1 Peter 2:24, “He himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness.” So Christ died not only to forgive sin, but also that it might die in the lives of His people. ~Quoting John Piper~ ALSO My friend put together a great PowerPoint about the Gospel and Jesus being the prophesied Messiah. In the Apple picking jackpot feature, it was already determined what you’re going to win before you start picking. Allowing you to pick just gives you something to do to interact with the game. It didn’t matter which tiles you picked, you were getting the lowest jackpot. So many games have a feature like this and 99% of the time , you get the mini or lowest one. There’s usually more than 3 options too. Mini, minor, major and grand. The minor is hit a lot too because sometimes it’s not much more than the mini. The major and grand are nearly impossible to get.
"Opening up a booster pack and not getting any expensive cards....is like loosing your entire life savings" This quote embodies TCGs so well. And totally gives me Celebrations PTSD.

This video is so great because your experience is identical to most addicts that get hooked. I worked in a casino bar for five years, and every single one of them had DOZENS of stories just like the anecdotes in the video. They take it further though. These stories will create superstitions that completely defy rational thought as well. Had these regulars we called "the screen lickers" because one time the husband's finger was wet from the condensation of his beer bottle, and he rolled a jackpot. So then he started getting cups of water and dipping his finger in to wet the screen. And then he got too lazy for that and started licking his finger instead. And then his wife started to do the same thing. It's wild. I once tried to explain the scam of jackpots to a regular out of curiosity to see if she would understand. In my state, jackpot winners of over $1200 owe 30% of the winnings back to the state for taxes. Since regulars/addicts are statistically the most likely jackpot winners and will just put all the money back...jackpots are literally a tax on being addicted. And they just don't get it. They whooped and hollered regardless and tipped me, the bartender, hundreds of dollars for their win...on a slot machine. Because it's supposedly good luck. Gambling addicts aren't just people who don't understand the stacked math of gambling, they're actually so superstitious that logic loses meaning to them entirely.

As someone who’s planning a birthday in Las Vegas, the rush is truly something else. Casinos are definitely built to make you feel like you have a chance rather than having you deal with the reality your more likely to lose more rather than win (hence, the budget). Still mad fun!
As someone who went to Vegas this past summer, I can confirm that the SECOND you step off the jetbridge at Harry Reid, you see slot machines. And you will likely see one every 2 feet for the duration of your stay.

You and your crew have become so amazing at animation, you guys seem to be talking to yourself every time as the years go by and each new video comes out
Here in Australia we have a really bad gambling problem (you have ads telling you that if you gamble you contribute to donating for charity) so it’s actually quite funny to see your first experience was in Australia. If you stay here long enough you’ll realise how normalised and serious of a problem it is here
Ok but the animation tho, you can see the improvement, ive had to double take and rewind countless times because the work is so *outstanding* props to everyone who worked on this y'all out did yourselves, my goodness, yalls work does not go unnoticed🤩🤩
I know it sounds crazy at first, but if the stats screen is telling the truth, then listening to it does give more of a chance to win. No roulette wheel can me manufactured perfectly, so even brand new ones will have a very slight bias towards a certain number. Now, a roulette wheel that's been used will have more marks, and the most marks will be around the numbers that came out the most. All of these impacts the ball, and mainly slows them down, so those numbers will come out even more. Therefore those stats might be worth considering.
Anime references this time: Kakegurui (main schoolgirl outfit from the gambling anime) and I think that was Kishibe sitting down gambling. (Denji’s sensei from chainsaw man) When he introduced himself to Denji and Power, he said he loved gambling and women. I think don’t quote me lol
I had a very negative view on gambling a few weeks ago, until I went to my very first casino with a lady friend. I discovered all these points on my own, and I'm glad that you shared them like this to the world!
@@SMCwasTaken that is the dumbest most dangerous advice. Humans are human. They will definitely end up making a "fun" habit more frequent over time with each session that they play until they become regular and bam before you know it you're hooked. Out of every fun hobby in the entire world you are seriously telling someone to do this? This isn't even ethical and you are supporting the casinos by giving them money which is exactly what gambling is, giving disgusting greedy people more money to continue screwing over families and people who have a house to return to. Maybe a father, maybe a mother, maybe a son.

The golden apple thing is not a coincidence. That's how con artists work. They give you small successes at the beginning: "Oh look, that worked, look, it worked again, there's NO way it'll fail now--" and then they run off with your biggest bet yet.
Sounds like life right?
Isnt it illegal to rig
@@petar8459 that for that one,no despite it all there no proof (it’s annoying)
@@petar8459 how do you prove it though? That's the problem...
Here's the thing about that, it is required by law, that professional slot machines don't rig outcomes, so the owners that do that are actual criminals.
Ah yes, Arin’s legendary big win. What a moment to be alive.
That's a video I always go back to because I was 100% on board with Dan scolding him for just betting all the money again and again (stopping only by being distracted by fart noises) Then when all hope seems lost, all that built up is paid off. Amazing second hand gambler's rush!

FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE
The Gospel:
(I am not a bot, I'm just someone who enjoys spreading the gospel. Much love to you all!)
The gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died for our sins and rose again, eternally triumphant over His enemies, so that there is now no condemnation for those who believe, but only everlasting joy.
Peter says in 1 Peter 2:24, “He himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness.”
So Christ died not only to forgive sin, but also that it might die in the lives of His people.
~Quoting John Piper~

@@edwardsheeran9220 As MatPat said, Game Theory has always been a collaborative channel, James's channel has always been his own, so I doubt he would stop doing the voicing since it was only ever him doing it.

@Mr.Burger It doesn't matter if you're a bot or advertising for your videos or both, it's equally annoying and spammy either way.
Imagine not winning in a casino. Could not be me. I am up all time in casinos. Keep gambling, kids!

And maybe take a trip to Jon Basso’s heart attack grill.

James be like: "If I had a nickel for every time someone turned two golden apples and three bronze apples in the casino, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but its weird that it happened twice."

You and your crew have become so amazing at animation, you guys seem to be talking to yourself every time as the years go by and each new video comes out
roulette is also the safest option(if you dont put "a million on red") because the chance that you win is almost identical as the chance you lose

@Don't Read My Profile Picture I won't
@griffy ye I'm not a bot lol 🤣🤣🤣
