Travis Head plays cricket in the way it should be played. He doesn't complicate anything whether it comes to his technique or mindset. The desire to graft everyday to get better at your skill and doing what you do best no matter what the scenario is.
It's easy to say now but there was a long period when basically complicating thinks with technique and mindset or what his actual game is (in tests) was what held him back. It takes time for people to get to that position where they can simplify things and Head is a terrific example
He doesn't do that. He averages a bunch at home on friendly bouncy decks, has a good average from a couple innings in india, and is literally hopeless everywhere else he has played. Swing is not his friend. He loves the roads and hates the tougher conditions.
This is what I love about Aussies, they don't have the fear of losing or trying something new, tbh when i used to watch head in 2018/19, I thought of him like he's just a slogger who only scores offside but i admit I was wrong about him, Huge respect for him, loved the vid btw
Head must have been devo when he was dropped - then he was left out again in the first test on the India tour a couple of years ago - it toughened him up and is now a ruthless competitor - kudos Trav!
Tough time to be Rohit Sharma, look all the stats you showed has Rohit ahead or besides him, Travis Head hinselfs said he like Sharma and his gameplay knowing the risk invovolved in this kind of cricket so its mutual respect thing. But this man has robbed Rohit the captain 2 ICC trophies and played gem in T20 WC, and now here gave a real smacking. He is one of those crickters with unreal peak, like Clarck in 2014-15, Arvind De Silva, Miyandad kind of impact in every ther game. His overall numbers might not impress anyone but his peak is surely is worth to remember POTM in ICC KO is not fun, he steps up in big moments and knows how to dismantle potent attacks with all his weaknesses. Unreal stuff from unreal bloke. Hits the ball so hard that its races to the boundary once hit, thats some confidence this guy has.
They are basically averages and strike rates adjusted for position and other scores in the match. This accounts for variation in batting positions and general game state (for example a no.6's batting in a 240 t20 game can't be directly compared to a no.3's performance in a 120 game. This tries to overcome that problem)
Nope, im an England fan and he has smashed England a lot of times, he's great against India and England and those 2 are the best teams in the world. Good average vs South Africa too. That's enough.
Umm no. As an Aussie even. Guy is a legendary bloke and will be in the test squad for a long time. Bloke loves cricket which is awesome. But he is a very handy short form player, and ultimately mediocre test middle order batsman. He's like a worse David Warner. Absolute TRUCK on pitches with limited lateral movement, and an absolute peanut in swinging conditions. Good average in Aus and India, and subpar literally EVERYWHERE else.
That’s why the question was best ALL-FORMAT player. Obviously Head isn’t the best all-pitch batter, or the best Test batter out today. But average it all out across all formats and Head is definitely among the biggest contenders for best all-format batters right now.
But those here and there runs come at a time when it matters the most. Mark my words, He wont be in highest run getters in cricket, but whenever he scores a 100, AUS ends up winning.

@@paramtageja6891true it takes time for some to nail down what works for them what doesn’t. Often times players never realize that over their career
He isn't going to have a high amount of centuries but his runs will be impactful and at a devastating consequences for the opposition.
He’s got back2back centuries?
His ability to outscore others on difficult pitches is the most remarkable aspect

So English conditions are roads?@@judgejudyandexecutioner.5223
Did you see his innings against South Africa at the Gabba a few years ago?@@judgejudyandexecutioner.5223
swing didn’t bother him in test championship final v ind. In eng
@@judgejudyandexecutioner.5223he's great in England
With the red, white and pink ball, no one out there is doing it better across all three than Head.
Bro has successfully destroyed IND in All Formats 🔥🔥🤩
It's been great to see the Bogan Bradman's rise.
Haha how have I never heard this before
You should have mentioned his average against India when Rohit is captain (80+) versus when Rohit is not captain (

Hi Jarrod, in an accountant by trade so love the statistics. One question though, what are true strike rate and average?
His judgements I think

Strangely it’s so true
Chokli and shitman fans about to cry in the comments 😂
What is true strike rate and true average ?
What does the "true" strike rate and average mean?
His judgements I think
Strike rate and average compared to all others in the same games
He is only 30, he is new hussey for australia
He needed to make his team world champion in 2024 t20 world cup.
For an Australian. The T20 World Cup is way down the list of priorities.
And that’s why Nasser Hussain had me legit lol 😂
Sponsorship amount please
And rohit is no Format player
Did you even watch the video? Have a look at 8:00 and 10:15. Just a couple of years ago he was the best all-format batter.
@@xdarshan let me see!!! Have I written rohit was never a any format player?!?
He smashed Starc for 29 in an over in T20
Kohli cry babies incoming 😂😂
You mean the cry babies of the greatest batter of all time 😂😂😂😂, sure!!
@@SOUMYAJITMitra-e8n lol "greatest batter of all time" he sure fails alot
Chokli is a waste player..
Worst team player..selfish arrogant average cricketer...not even in top 20 best players
Chokli loves choking hard
He don't play selfish cricket like kohli😂
Travis head score only against india 😂😂😂That's all format batter. Only against india failure against other countries.
Nope, im an England fan and he has smashed England a lot of times, he's great against India and England and those 2 are the best teams in the world. Good average vs South Africa too. That's enough.

Did well in England

Mediocre? What is this ridiculously dumb statement mate?
Great player. But, Harry Brook is a class above purely on the eye test alone
You can only say that for Test and this is a conversation about all formats
Omg Australian wishful thinking 😂😂
Travis Head doesn't deserve any episode, he is just an overrated batter. Sure he scores runs here and there sometimes.
Okay Mr. Edgelord we heard you, now go to sleep.
Sure mate why don't you bowl to him
You can just smell the defeat lmfao; I’m sorry he has obliterated India in several key scenarios and denied you wins
But those here and there runs come at a time when it matters the most. Mark my words, He wont be in highest run getters in cricket, but whenever he scores a 100, AUS ends up winning.
Wc final and wtc finals, runs here and there, sure 😂
