    I used to love going on these kinds of evening walks, during the hour when kids grow sad having to go in doors, but untethered adults grow excited and boozy. Thanks for this atmospheric walk!

    Hi, Johnny! I really enjoy your relaxing walking tours of Toronto. Your narrations are very informative and make me feel like I'm actually there. I'm from New York City, but I like seeing how other large cities operate. I once visited Toronto in the late 70's and I'll always remember the iconic A&A Records sign that loomed large on Yonge Street. Thank you for documenting such a beautiful city!

This video was a mazing, it makes me miss Toronto even more. That guy in the neon Acura is what pure unrefined elemental downtown driver looks like. If you distil him in alcohol (which I'm sure he's used to), he becomes a Richmond Hill driver.

    Jeez seems like i'm commenting on everything about this video so far but this will be my last (i hope?)
    The Flatiron bar in the basement (far corner) of the Flat Iron building is a British themed pub, probably the closest my wife and i came to a British bar in Toronto... obvioulsy we didn't go to Toronto to check out British bars but on week two of our second visit we kind of hankered for British pub food so dropped in there and, omg, the steak pie was as close to British outside of Britain and it was soo good... the decor was a bit a bit lacking and of course it had the multiple big screens showing sports, we also seemed to be the only people in there which was a bit odd... but we both left with huge smiles on our faces having just tasted what is bland British food again :)
    Because of the pandemic and how quiet it was when we visited (at peak lunchtime in 2019) i'd be surprised it's still open, but if it is and you're a Brit looking for home comforts from a British pub you should definately drop in there... it's not really "British" but the steak pie was very close.

    Great video of your awesome city, it's just like New York City without all the shootings and trash and homeless people shitting in the streets and the gazillion taxi's trying to run you down. Looking forward to my visit in spring.

    Wow you covered some ground in this video I'm quite liking this premier concept as it's like you are participating in the chat in my home state of Victoria at nine fifteen this morning (Wed twenty second September)we had quite a rare event a nearly six on the Richter scale earthquake it was quite terrifying as it's rare to have any thing more than a two or three tremor on the Richter scale anywhere in Australia there was even some small scale damage everyone in Victoria has been really shaken by this as we are still in lockdown with 9pm to 5am curfew and the last few days we have been having pretty violent riots in Melbourne so a fricken earthquake is the last thing we needed but I am still sending you a big g'day mate from Melbourne Australia 👍🌏🇦🇺🇨🇦

    • @JohnnyStrides
      @JohnnyStrides  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you enjoy the content! The idea of a curfew is mental to me (as are more lockdowns given where we are) but I wish the best of luck!

    The restrooms at the start of the video is odd, starting to think Johnny Strides should open a new channel called Johnny Stalker... after stalking TheKenContinuum outside a cemetary on Ken's birthday a few days ago, and now walking into the ladies toilets in Union Station... is Johnny Stalker born??😱😱😱

    I don't know the name of it but the red victorian building across from the Bay on the east side of Yonge is gorgeous. I love that building. Dundas sq is a fail. It just missed everything it could have been.
    Osgoode used to be in that old building and they moved to York U.
    Those e scooter people are the worst. They never have proper helmets, they scoot up one ways the wrong way, no light at night, on sidewalks, in the parks. ugh!!
    You sat at the bottom of my street near the healthy butcher.
    Downtown, people do whatever they like. Cyclists ride through red lights, people walk in front of cars all of the time.
