2022 Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 Testing at Monza Circuit!

Here's a video fully focused on some Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 I recorded this year during various test days organized by Kateyma at Monza Circuit. The EVO2 was unveiled in 2021 aehad of the 2022 Lamborghini Super Trofeo season as a whole car to purchase or as an upgrade kit, recommended for those teams that already used the previous Huracán ST version.
The area that has most affected the development of the EVo2 is for sure the body work and aerodynamic, with a totally new and aggressive design which also includes never seen front and rear lights. The guys of Squadra Corse also made some changes to the braking system, which now adopts larger 390 mm front discs and modified calipers. On the engine side the car is still powered by the reliable 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10, able to produce 620hp, linked to an X-Trac sequential gearbox.
Watch them in action on the Italian track, unfortunately fitted with exhaust mufflers.

0:13 The knocking shows how strong their limited Slip Differentials are preloaded. Its very prominent when the car moves along a tight corner due to the different wheel rotation speed.

I love the way the new Super Trofeo looks, but the old one has it absolutely beat with sound. 1:48 you can hear the old Super Trofeo in front of the EVO2, and in comparison the new one sounds much quieter and less crisp. Maybe these models are running a silenced exhaust for testing? Either way it's kinda disappointing to see beautiful, dramatic new bodywork and aero, but the car sounds like a muffled slower version of the last model

Yeah most likely running a silencer since most tracks have a dB limit.

Yes, I confirm that this year I unfortunately managed to record all the EVO2s with mufflers on. In the past it happend to me to record old EVO1s with silenceres on the exhaust, but it was pretty rare during these test days

The difference in loudness is the fact that I used to record Evo1s (or even first-gen Super Trofeos) without mufflers during these test days in the past. Unfortunately this year I've only managed to record EVO2s with mufflers on, so that's why they doesn't sound as loud as they're supposed to.
