Today is the 9 year mark since my mom passed away and it hurts still but I know she's in a better place now and I know she's watching me with my wife and there both guiding me through this cross road's I love you mom and I'll never let anything or anyone keep me down for to long I'll get up and walk away head held high
Honestly, i think this was the best version yet of this song. I think eminems part in the song was not only necessary but CRUTIAL to the MEANING of the song. Together they just gave this song more than a beat, they gave it a HEART BEAT….. Ive followed eminem from the very beginning of his music and have always loved what he did with lyrics and his music i dont think he could have hit this song any harder than he did. And man, Dax, i just i really have so many good things to say about you bro that i just dont even think your trying to hear all that but man i respect you to a deep deep level as a man. And this song is obviously as big as we all wanted it to be. I think you smacked life right back in the mouth with your song bro! Im a huge fan of both of you. Eminem has kind of let me down since the recovery album but , i think hes dialing back into a zone that cant be touched. Im basicly a homeless guy and really have nothing but songs like this to pull me through the struggles im going through in my life right now. Love Peace and Respect brothas

My heart goes out to you i feel your pain dax god will always keep you in his heart your a amazing loveing man proud of you dont ever give up on god he will always have your back an see you threw good an bad hes amazing your always loved my mom passed away also she lived in vegas i was here when she passed away in tucson i always prayed to god she would come home to me but she had a hard life with my dad alot offighting from my dad with his drinking i always use to tell her leave him you will have a better life with out all the abuse he does to you thank god i got to see her before she passed away she got divorced from my dad left meet another younger man that wasnt good either when i went to see her she had cancer broken leg i caught him given my mom lots of pills i got in argument with him he threw me out of ther house i came back to tuson az to my house she had passed away he didnt even tell me that she passed it was one of ther friends called me let me no i had called him he never answered the phone he had her cremated not what she wanted either i tryed to go back up ther cus when he called me month later he was drunk then he said she passed away i was heart broken over it but she refuse to come home with me when i taold her go home with me but i had to respect her wishes i was younger at the time am 70 now i still cry an pray to god for her i will see her in heaven when its my time god will answer my prayers too❤

Ok first things first, I found Eminem when I was going through a hard time in my life, and he helped me get past that his music I could relate to a lot of songs. Then later on in life heard of Dax my request for them is they need to make more songs together or at least both of them collaborate on the sound because the song really close to home to me. I suffered from a traumatic brain injury and I never knew what it was like to be until I heard this song and you never know what it’s like to be a man until you something hard and you experience it and then realize everybody else has their own struggles that you do for me the only way to get over the struggles with music.
