Not even having the time to even get the chance to show emotions or even talk because I was so busy working to support 4 kids and their mother...
If I did show any kind of emotions, they were laughed off,or not taken seriously..
Treated like I was a machine... like a robot,incapable of feeling anything other than the drive to keep going out the door to work... I worked for 11 years straight...
In those 11 years at the siding company I worked for..
I called in sick twice.
Worked 7 days a week, then 2 jobs,working 7 days a week, 20 hours a day,for 3 years, just to be thrown out when I couldn't provide at times..
And then had my daughters made to think I didn't love them and never wanted to be around them because I was never home,I was never at any of their school functions...
To this day neither one of my girls have any idea that I was working...
That I wished that I could be there for them.. but couldn't.
I won't go into how that crushed me and still crushes me to this day to learn what they had been made to believe about me,when it was them that gave me my drive to walk out that door every morning to go to work..
It sucks when u keep going then one day wake up being told u almost died and have cirrhosis this song has really been helping me thanks for such a true amazing song

I was there.. eventually I put myself in rehab and it took me a few times but I found the right counselor to talk to about the things I was holding in that I didn’t realize were keeping me sick and now it has been 7 1/2 years sober.. The most important thing is to find a way to love yourself and from there you can keep up with everything else in your life with a smile on your face and no more drink in that hand.

Recovered heroin, cocain, and severe alcoholic. It can be done. Reach out. It's not your fault. But the action is yours to take. AA helped me. I was stubborn and fought. But they accepted and cared for me. It was a beginning. I can't say how it will work for you. No matter how hard it is to trust... take the next step. It's yours to take. Ask for help the same way you take a car to a mechanic if it were broken and you didn't know how to fix it. All humans have a mind, body, and spirit. Mine is an allergy of the body coupled with a broken spirit. Both issues needed to be addressed. Nothing is as simple as it should be.

That's your soul and where you are going for eternity. What I've been thinking also is that Christ himself suffered right. He suffered for our behalf.
