- I will be showing you guys Dewalt new Cordless Variable Speed Rotary Polisher. I really like the tool and works great. I just wish the kit was cheaper 258 to 429 is a pretty big difference for a battery and charger. Hope you guys enjoy the video.

I got this to do my RV, its a beast. It does use up battery faster than most tools do because its run more constantly. It is heavy too, especially when your holding it up the entire time.
Yes it does kill those batteries pretty quick!
Great rotary, just bought one (over in the UK £167 naked) very impressed, like the light weight, it's nicely balanced and feels like a very well thought out quality piece of kit.

Can you use the flexvolt batteries with this ?
Do you have a recommendation on who or where to purchase the buffing pads for this product? Ideally, I'd just like a pack of pads I can use to buff my cars once a year to get the oxidation off and follow it with a sealant. Your expert advice would be appreciated!
Chemicals guys HEX pads work good the orange then a black to finish. Also 3D purple pad and black pad to finish as well. If you really want to get that paint looking awesome Meguiars microfiber pads are the best way to go. They have extra cut, cutting/polishing and polishing microfiber pads.
I've got a black SUV and am new to polishing and buffing. Should I get this one or the orbital model? I'm worried about burning through the clear coat or leaving swirls.
I would start with the DA before rotary.
Not sure if I got a bad one but this thing vibrating so hard my hands are numb I can't feel my hands lol I use a corded Makita and just got this because iv had great luck with the rest of the corded tools drills impacts ECT iv eliminate air and not want to do the same with the cords on my detailing tools but the handles need lots of rubber added and still then it's pretty undesirable but having no cord is the shit let's be honest but the vibration will have me return it
Mine does not have any vibration super smooth. Definitely return that item 👍

I wouldn't use it for wood sanding.

Hello, how long can we use on each battery?

I normally get about 35 minutes on a battery depends on how high I have the tool settings. Around 35-40 minutes for me though.
What pad are you using with it?
For the video that was opt 6in pad. I normally used a wool pad
Bruh, or obvious that you are a pro. It's good to see DeWalt finally come out with the 20v cordless system. I'm very happy work my DeWalt and Makita corded polishers however the cords get on my damn nerves. My question is,,, with a 5ah battery,, will this machine perform equal or close to the corded polishers. How many batteries do it take to polish a mid sized sedan?. Thanks for this video bruh.
I feel you on the cord getting in way all the time. For this tool I would say two batteries will get the job done no problem most of the time one battery will do a mid size vehicle. I have notice with the flex xfe cordless does need two batteries for a mid size vehicle and the power compared to a corded polisher is a big difference. The corded DA has a lot more power and doesn't die down like the battery polisher does after you get to two or one bar left on the battery.

How long does the battery last?
Depends on what speed you run the machine on. On level 2 or 3 I get about hour out of it. Should have two batteries for sure.

I think you get 2 batteries with the polisher kit, not one
Everywhere I looked you only get one at 449. If you find one with two get it! 👍
