10mm Auto, specifically Norma Spec ammunition, was designed specifically to stop violent human threats. Not bear defense. A byproduct is harvesting game/dangerous game with hardcast and some other bullet types. The .357 Magnum is generally more powerful than the 10mm. The 9mm is anemic even with top tier 9mm ammo - anything less, avoid for duty/defensive purposes. As more OISs occur where violent human threats are taking 12-30 hits (not including misses) to stop(!), I believe the pendulum will swing back to the .40 S&W. When I worked the streets, the .40 worked very well. My now alternate EDC XTEN has nearly 6k rds fired, and my EDC XTEN Comp just surpassed 1k rds. The platform wears in nicely. I use Tetra Gun grease on metal-to-metal contact points and Ballistol. The trigger is noticeably smoother than my NIB XTEN.
Use your left thumb to keep pressure towards the right and even if you flinch it will limit it.. Do a show with the 220 grain Underwood hard case burgundy tip those are bad

I got mine because 2 of my friends were shooting 357mag revolvers, they were always saying "one and done"... They aren't anymore!
As a side note I seem to be very close in accuracy to my 9mm!

I've tried around 12 handguns in the last 10 weeks and the best one I shot with was the HK SFP9 Match and the Canik TP9 Elite Combat Executive.

What have they done to assuage the concerns about the striker causing the gun to fire uncommanded? That is my hang up for this thing and the Comp version. NOBODY can afford to have an accident with 10mm.
I live right up the street from SIG. They’ve done absolutely nothing they act like it doesn’t exist. The 320 platform is complete bullshit. All it took was 40 years to copy Glock… Oh, and pull the safety off the trigger.
