SONIC ADVENTURE (Chao Garden) - Part 21 (Secret Eggs / Hatching / Basic Raising)

- We take some time off from the overall story and focus our attention on our Chao in the gardens.
I start off this part by locating each of the Hub worlds secret Chao eggs; from Station Square (00:20 - 02:10) to Mystic Ruins (02:38 - 03:37) and finally the Egg Carrier (04:12 - 05:42). Something to note: the egg in Station Square can be collected with any character, the egg in Mystic Ruins can be collected by anyone except Gamma and the egg aboard the Egg Carrier can only be saved by Amy Rose, Big the Cat, or E-102 Gamma.
After locating the secret eggs, I start by raising a newly hatched Chao, BOB. I am using a cheat to multiply the stat increases of the Chao to make raising it more efficient and quick for the sake of the video. Another Chao on screen is the Normal/Swim type Chao, Xander, he was fully raised by me without cheats.

I think my brother played this game when we were kids, sometime in the early to mid 2000's, and this one part of the game was always just half a memory in the back of my mind. I couldn't really remember what game it was, I just remembered eggs and a garden with these weird little baby creatures. Glad I found it, so it will stop bothering me, lol.

Yep, you're supposed to either shake the egg or wait for it to hatch if you wanna keep the Chao inside happy.

@@Rose_Freak Chao hating you if you hatch them by throwing the egg has been proven false. How you hatch the egg has no effect on if the chao will be happy or unhappy. If you attack and throw them after they have hatched then they will be unhappy and hate you.

I'm just wondering. At 10:28 that one Chao is nearly 99 across all stats. How'd you accomplish that? When I originally played this game I didn't put that much effort into the Chao Gardens.
Running through levels and letting my Chao absorb animals and eat a ridiculous amount of skill fruit.

How can you get chaos' stats?!? When I pick them up nothing appears...and in this way I cannot know their stats :(

Chao needs to be reborn at least twice.
Give it at least 1 of all 15 animals (animals given to it in its previous life does not count)
Chao has to be balanced and set to evolve into a Normal type and not a Swim, Fly, Run or Power type.
Chao needs to have at least over 50 happiness which means don't abuse them as this decreases happiness and if happiness is too low it won't become a Chaos Chao.
I'm guessing all the above was reached only you weren't paying attention to how many times it was reborn, which animals you'd given it and what type it was set to evolve into and got a Chaos Chao by accident.
What was the purpose of those egg and creatures of those egg in the game
Not much, just a pet simulator side game and mandatory to 100% the game if you're after that.
