I'm 55yrs old and have been around to hear all the great bands since the 60's.......I'm here to tell you Jinjer is the best band on the planet. They are all I listen to now. Jinjer....thank you for bringing back music to my life.
At 56, I took my 18yr old to see their first show .. Jinjer. Headlining. I've been going to shows since I was 14. Heck, I saw U2 play a college hockey rink before many knew who they were. I've seen Rush, Megadeth, The Police, and more metal shows than I can shake a stick at. Jinjer, playing an 1200 person venue, was easily a top 3 show. Everything about it was fantastic. I'll pass up shows where they're an opener to see them headline *any time*.

I love it when bands bring in native influences from their cultures to their music. The different influences, textures to the sounds, phrasings... so beautiful. Yes, I'm an old guy, old enough to not be really young when Sepultura released Roots, but I loved the Brazilian vibe on that record in the same way I love this song, especially the intro. So hauntingly beautiful at the start but you know it's going to hit harder than the Tzar Bomba when things get loud.
Another great video from Jinjer...this not only pays homage to their parents...but also us fans. I was in one of the shots at the meet and greet! So cool.

Отличное видео! Год назад узнала о группе, и тут же она стала одной из моих любимых, до сих пор оставаясь на тех же позициях. Каждый из коллектива выкладывается на все сто, и в результате получилась уже целая плеяда шедевров. Мне кажется, что Джинджер - это отличный пример самодостаточных музыкантов, ведь они не просто попали в тренд и поэтому стали популярны, они трудолюбием и талантом кропотливо и настойчиво таранили себе дорогу на пьедестал легенд. И на этом не останавливаются! Что касается песни... Не знаю, насколько важно мое субъективное восприятие, но раз секция комментариев открыта, значит, можно писать что угодно :) Так вот, песня для меня очень значима, так как напоминает мне о маме. Мы с ней были очень близки, но несколько лет назад ее не стало. Все, никаких глубинных смыслов - просто при прослушивании этого трека возникает теплая ассоциации с некогда самым близким человеком :)

All their songs can be divided in "completely in Russian", "completely in English", "Russian-English mix" categories.
I simply do not understand how this band is so fucking good. They are truly something special. I don't even really like the growling, but I can not stop listening. This band (and everyone behind them) does not produce music. They produce true art.
What a wonderful video, made me remember all the good things that my father did for me. All his labour and struggle, it was all for me. And I never was able to say that I love him, not even to thank him for everything. I wasn't there when he died, although I could have been. Why wasn't I there at least.. I couldn't bear it, seeing him so weak. But I was the one being weak, not him. Now it's too late.
All you can do right now is remembering him with the best memories you have with him. As long as he lives in your heart, it's never too late to give credit to someone you loved. I'm sure that he's proud because of how much you miss him and wish it could go differently during his last days.

Every time I hear this song I find the uncontrollable need to thrash my head, and bawl my eyes out at the same time. The songwriting and performance level of this band is simply, 'beyond anything I've experienced beforehand'. Yes, Tatiana is a seductive siren, but Eugene, Roman, and Vlad are her equals. These four were meant to perform together!

I simply do not understand how this band is so fucking good. They are truly something special. I don't even really like the growling, but I can not stop listening. This band (and everyone behind them) does not produce music. They produce true art.
That’s why this music is so powerful, that’s why we listen to Jinjer.
What a wonderful video, made me remember all the good things that my father did for me. All his labour and struggle, it was all for me. And I never was able to say that I love him, not even to thank him for everything. I wasn't there when he died, although I could have been. Why wasn't I there at least.. I couldn't bear it, seeing him so weak. But I was the one being weak, not him. Now it's too late.
All you can do right now is remembering him with the best memories you have with him. As long as he lives in your heart, it's never too late to give credit to someone you loved. I'm sure that he's proud because of how much you miss him and wish it could go differently during his last days.

russian invasion and occupation of Donbass (Jinjer's home region) started in spring 2014 and resistance and actual battles started in May (so, late spring). :( Jinjer had to leave the occupation zone and moved to Lviv and then to Kyiv as refugees. They cannot see their families and relatives who are still in the occupation zone more than once a year. :(

Every time I hear this song I find the uncontrollable need to thrash my head, and bawl my eyes out at the same time. The songwriting and performance level of this band is simply, 'beyond anything I've experienced beforehand'. Yes, Tatiana is a seductive siren, but Eugene, Roman, and Vlad are her equals. These four were meant to perform together!
