      Any kind of oil mixed with the road dirt will prevent rust well; cars that have engine oil leaks never rust on that side, or on all sides if it's the oil pan gasket,had a Camaro like that, needed half a quart every 300 miles.

Thanks for making great instructional videos!!

    • @SweetProjectCars

    Great mix. Went back through vid and got exact mix. Confused about only one thing, when you mixed it up you ended up with 1/2 of a bottle. Then on the rear bumper of Zilla, you had a bottle that was full. Since I didn’t see a ton of bubbles in it I’m assuming you didn’t top it off with water. Did you just double all of the original mix you quoted to get a full spray bottle?

I didn't have him that far off the floor yet as I went to lift him so he wasn't hurt but I was shocked that the huskers left my skin with no grip ability. That was the first and the last time I ever used Corn Huskers. Scary stuff.

    Zep Acidic Toilet Bowl Cleaner quickly removes rust. Its powerful 10 percent Hydrochloric Acid gel formula enables the cleaner to dissolve the heaviest rust buildup. The thick gel clings to vertical surfaces. Zombie: Corroseal would work differently ... use it if you want to attack the rust problem and convert the rust to a paintable surface then paint it. If done correctly it should stop any future rust, as long as your surface was prepped right, the corroseal applied right and your finish coat of paint applied right. SPC's concoction is to prevent further rust UNTIL you decide to attack the problem, not INSTEAD of attacking the problem.

      Well I'm totally embarrassed! Turns out Canadian Tire carries PB Blaster. It's similar to WD-40. I tried it on my truck and cars various squeaks and noises, even grinding sounds Etc., and they immediately disappeared. So when it comes to making the rust proofing, it simply consists of transmission fluid, Dawn dishwashing liquid , and PB Blaster. And the blaster sold for Less than WD-40! I'm hooked on it. they also have a lubricant I'm going to try.

    I looked at the ATF link and it came up with a full synthetic ATF does it have to be synthetic or can it be regular ATF? I also use any ATF and acetone 50/50 as penetrating oil but it likes to run off. Do think Dawn will help?

    • @SweetProjectCars
      @SweetProjectCars  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thomas if you follow our mixture exactly, you will have the same great results. We have spent years coming up with this concoction. The only thing that you can vary from is you can use "used" transmission fluid if needed. Thanks. mad Mike the hammer SPC

    How does it dry, does it stay tacky and pick up dirt over time? I’m wondering if I could use this instead of cosmoline as a winter undercoat.

    • @SweetProjectCars
      @SweetProjectCars  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You sure can use it, it's the best stuff you will ever use I promise, it will outdo anything on the market. It doesn't do anything like stay tacky and pick up dirt, we only put out videos that really do work, hence our 700 videos. Thanks for watching and asking Kevin, we appreciate it. Transmission fluid, acetone, 50 50 mix. The Dawn? Never thought of that. Helps the Rust Buster stick too the metal. Rock salt, dishwashing soap, sprayed on grass kills it. Cheaper than Weed Be Gone
