The close details that only the Design & Engineering Teams enjoy privately now shared wonderfully on a video so the rest of us can appreciate their work too. Outstanding editing with wonderful humor, and a treat to watch beginning to end.
I remember reading when the Mustang came out, that it was named after the P-51. However, the little horsie in the grill was described as a " Wild, young mare, caught in a moment of disarray".
Not only did Volvo invent the shoulder belt seat belt , but the engineer who designed them made the patent free to use for everybody . Because he wasn't trying to make money, he was trying to save lives .
Something worth mentioning is that the Mercedes EQS acknowledges that it is Halloween by displaying little graphics of bats and pumpkins in the infotainment system. (They might do this with other models and holidays, but Doug DeMuro reviewed the EQS on Halloween)
4:37 Also, the "Audio" and "Menu" buttons combined with the Radio Tuner dial also form the MINI logo. I have a 2007 R56 MINI Cooper non-S and I have counted at least 48 circles just in the interior.
For the GT86 it also have All the "T shape" inspired by the one of the 2000 GT. this T is everywhere in the GT86. In the grill, it's the rear fog Light, it's the dashboard paternel, it's on the floor mat.
A lot of these seem to be based in designs made in 3D modelling software, or within the cars software. This makes me wonder what might be some of the oldest little easter eggs put in cars, back when it would have taken a lot more effort to do so.
my golf cabrio has loads of hidden features, such as fine-tuning the timing of the wipers, rain sensor sensitivity adjustment, rear fog lights, under-hood compressor and loads more. actually hidden, not (like here) software which uses silly icons.
9:38 These clips aren't for showing off speeding tickets but rather for placing your 'parking ticket', the paper ticket you purchase at parking lots to show you paid to park your car there, so that the police can read it well and you dont get the actual parking ticket, meaning a fine cause you didnt get a 'parking ticket'
The skoda windshield clip is for parking permits, when you go to a paid open parking lot (meaning there are no gates) you buy the permit and put it in the clip, quite handy.
The c5 when the doors are open won’t close the trunk all the way because of the suction. So if you open the door and close the trunk it will then be flush with the decklid
Honorable Mentions: 1) Hyundai Veloster: BlueMax video game 2) VW Golf/Passat: rear camera hidden under logo 3) Peugeot 3008/Citroen C4: boot light is removeable and can be used as torch
3:50 as a Five Nights at Freddy's fan, it was hard to ignore the kids cheering. That sound plays when you reach 6:00 AM in FNAF 1, FNAF 2 and FNAF 3 (this attraction is great so many guards i can-)
Fun Fact: Mostly the left side of cars is being designed and the right side is being mirrored. So even if the Stylist (of the Ford GT) didnt make it intentional, the CAD design engineer maybe did.
also an easter egg from hyundai is the 4 pixels or dots on the steering wheel of the ioniq 5 and ioniq 6, it is actually morse code for H which is their logo
@@TopCarsTV i don't know man, listen to your heart, don't chase the PR tactics. i'll give a suggestion though just because you asked. something like "All Them Cars"
About the Mini Cooper climate controls that look like the Mini logo, I would say that they also look like the Sonic The Hedgehog title sceen emblem, if you think about it.
one of my favorites is in the c4 corvette: a piece of frame is stamped with a baseball and bat, a hotdog, an apple pie, and the chevy logo... cuz murica
@@TopCarsTV we don't do them anymore, physical highway vignettes have been phased out in most of Europe and replaced with digital ones where your licence plate gets scanned by highway cameras (privacy for convenience, an evergreen) + idk about other countries but in CZ (where Škoda originates from) you had to place the vignette at the bottom right corner (i.e. passenger side, the ticket holder is driver-side) and it had to be glued on properly, the points behind those reqs being it was not allowed to obstruct the driver's visibility and was non-transferable between vehicles
