😂 tbh I didn’t know I was going to get one until earlier this week. I told myself I didn’t need it for the first week it was out! But yes, it is badass!
You totally could! That would give you a lot of flexibility for shaping the start of your signal chain! Or you could put the Condor at the end to make any final tweaks you might want
@lambertsmusic is correct! I got them from Sweetwater last holiday as they were on sale. They come in several colors and the white pack below is the one I have, with multiple lengths in the pack. They’re great! www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/P06387--ernie-ball-p06387-white-flat-ribbon-patch-cable-right-angle-to-right-angle-multi-pack
The Euna 29 seems to add similar benefits as the now deleted Aphex Aural Exciter which adds sparkle and bass. Could I use the Euna and sit it between my mixer and monitors? Would it still clean up the signal adding that lovely sparkle?
The EUNA is quite a wonderful piece! I would suggest reaching out to Jesse, who designs and builds these to ask him about the EUNA being used on monitors. My first question would be about impedance. And also you’d probably need one for each channel as the EUNA is meant for a mono signal.
@@thepedalcollaborativeI tried to replace Euna with Condor first and then an Audio Kitchen The Small Trees tube boost, which is a phenomenal “special sauce” pedal…..now I run Euna>The Small Trees as always on sound. 700$ clean tone?!? Fuck it, perks of giving up booze/ciggs/drugs.
thanks for the video, i'm wondering the same thing. whats your conclusion? did it replace your EUNA? the condor however is not a buffer pedal. so it can't completely replace the EUNA? or am I wrong?
I still have my EUNA, but that’s more because of the effects loop it has. In the most basic sense, a buffer just drives the signal. The EUNA highlights certain frequencies as it does (depending on your settings). A clean boost or EQ pedal or anything else than can increase the volume can drive your signal. Is a buffer really that different than a boost or transparent OD?
@@thepedalcollaborative you know better than i do! so its basically not so different at all! i thought a buffer pedal did some magic haha. i don't have fuzz pedals so dont really need an effects loop
@tendingtropic7778 oh I don’t know about that! I’m sure a pedal builder could jump in here and correct things if need be. A buffer keeps the signal at unity, meaning not adding or subtracting level. Set the Condor, or any boost or light OD, to the same level and there you go! The EUNA stands for Elite UNity Amplifier btw. Does that help? Make sense?
@@thepedalcollaborative i saw a nice video of yours how the euna returns clarity to your signal/sound when used before 4-5 stereo wet pedals. Could condor do the same?
I wish the narration levels (too low, mumbling w/ vocal fry) were more balanced to the music levels in this video. This channel is great and I appreciate the videos.
@thepedalcollaboritive don’t change the way you talk through your video, we don’t need another hype man, your voice is what makes this different and better than most videos out there.
Appreciate it! I don’t plan on changing the way I talk. It’s the way I talk!!! 😆 BUT if I can help make it more clear and intelligible I will! I’m curious what you think about the latest video here. Used a different mic and recording software in hope to improve sound quality but still be me! Let me know if you don’t mind: th-cam.com/video/St6P87akYx8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=BRPETr92MGJtF2mA
I'm not sure I understand why you switched the Drive dip-switch on to Hold so you had to hold the Drive/Hold footswitch to get the effects. If you left that off you could have played without having to hold the Drive/Hold footswitch down.
AFAIK you have to have the Drive DIP switch engaged to be able to do the Ramping. BUT I could have misread the manual. That's definitely a possibility. In this one I was just trying things as I was filming. I'll for sure go back and check! Thanks for the comment!
@@thepedalcollaborative I wonder if the confusion lies with the ability to have the pedal ramp up/down using the Hold function in a manual fashion. That yes requires that Drive dip-switch to be activated, but if all you want is the ramping to be “bounced” then no you can forget about the Drive dip-switch and let it rip up and down.
Hi there. I think you channel is great and I learn a lot from your videos, and would like to offer a friendly suggestion. Often your delivery is so quiet and monotone it sounds as if you are not trying to wake someone up in the next room over. It makes it extremely difficult to discern what you are saying unless I have earbuds or headphones and am in a silent environment, which I am seldom ever in. Can you please try speaker louder and with more dynamics? Thanks.
Hey there! Thanks for the thoughtful suggestion. I can definitely work on this, but I am quite literally trying to NOT wake I’m someone in the next room 😂 and I mean literally. Only time I have to make these is in the wee hours of the night But that said, I will see how I can make adjustments to make things more understandable :)
@elikelley4602 I get where they’re coming from. We live in an online world with top notch production and folks who are Internet personalities for a living. I’m always welcome to friendly critique aimed at making my content better, which I felt was the nature of this one here. Does that mean I have to change my style? No. Can I take into consideration the request and try to accommodate? Yes. Will it work? 🤷🏻 Appreciate your comment though 100%! For me, if I’m wanting to listen to the nuances of these pedals I’d be listening in a discerning environment where I could hear subtle differences. Maybe that’s through speakers. Maybe that’s through headphones. Maybe it’s blasting a video through my car speakers as I drive at night on backroads.
I find your speaking soothing and not annoying. Thank you.
Thank YOU for your kind words!
I somehow knew you would get that new Condor. Congrats man. Looks badass!! 🤘🏼

How about having both on the board?

Nice video, Please can you let me know what your white patch cables are ? they look really good quality .
Those are ernie ball flat ribbon patch cables. They’re amazingly compact and reliable if you ask me :)

To my ears the EUNA sounds better all round. Also the way the EUNA preserves the signal through large pedal boards is really impressive.
Yes the EUNA is awesomeness in a box! I’m definitely not letting it go. I just found this comparison interested and wanted to share :)

Clean tone is the new drug
Seems that EUNA has a higher headroom, on the other hand Condor has a lot of functions/ effects. Greetings from Brazil!
Welcome Brazil!

@tendingtropic7778 you could achieve similar results with the condor by dialing in the EQ and increasing the output on the condor.
