If they sent mail then they might onboard but to be at safer side don't wait for it get some more offers in hand, if they provide it on Feb then you can go else you won't be in trouble if you have other offer in hand

Java is a back end support where as Java script is a front end so if you have knowledge on both then it's good else depends on the requirement
