Bill Murray was brought in at the last moment when another actor cancelled. He was working close by and is good friends with Woody who called him and asked if he'd do the movie. Ironically filming was delayed for a day because Woody got arrested for possession of marijuana.
One of my favorite easter eggs in this movie is that the guys get so distracted killing zombies and meeting the girls that they walk right past a box of Twinkies in the grocery store.
The Bill Murray cameo was originally planned to be Patrick Swayze, but Swayze tragically died of cancer before production. Woody Harrelson is good friends with Bill Murray from their time together filming the bowling comedy Kingpin, so he called up Murray to take Swayze's place as the cameo. Also, Murray's joke about regretting Garfield was real. He signed on to be the voice of Garfield in the live-action movie because he mistakenly believed that one of the Coen Brothers (award-winning directors of Fargo and No Country For Old Men) were involved in the movie. They weren't. Garfield bombed, and Murray genuinely regrets doing the movie.
This really is an extremely fun movie. And you guys are really cool and down to earth. I enjoyed your reaction. There's a sequel that's worth reacting to even if it wasn't quite as good as the first one imo. (Zombieland Double Tap.)
Hey, guys! I've never been a big commenter on TH-cam, but I wanted to drop in quickly to thank you both. My life has been spiraling for a while now, and when everything is at its worst, you two always manage to cheer me up with your amazing chemistry, and reactions. You're both beautiful people, and I hope that you get to keep doing what you do for years to come.
Just in case it wasn’t stated earlier; when Columbus first meets Tallahassee he breaks the gun pointing stand-off by sticking his thumb up as if he’s a hitchhiker that needs a ride. I got a nice laugh out of that scene. I can see why you were a little confused about the 👍. It’s rare to see anyone hitchhiking anymore along the highways.
There is a difference between running and sprinting. Running is sprinting but can also not be sprinting. Sprinting is going 100% speed for a short distance. Running can be 50% speed for a long distance
In the store when he propped the door open, i believe it was more so he could remember it in case the situation got heated. You dont always think straight when you're panicking
sprinting is talking about running quickly enough to only be able to maintain the speed for a shorter duration. running is just passive higher then walking speed.
Please watch Ghostbusters! The first one is a classic and the entire series is pretty good as well. A new one is supposed to realese next year and the new one "Afterlife" was a great surprise, so much fun!
Difference between running and sprinting? Purpose. 😂 Also, for the record, Emma Stone was born in 1988, so she definitely would not have seen her first rated R movie in 1997 unless she snuck in lol I was born in 1984 and ironically did sneak in to my first rated R movie (The Faculty) in 1998. Good times and great reaction! Hope you guys check out the sequel...it's lots of fun.
@meghanmonroe Ah, I see. It was never explicitly stated within the context available here that it was limited to theater experiences alone. You'll have to forgive.
I always thought that whole “not running, but sprinting” scene was stupid cause whats the difference between a running and a sprint. But apparently by definition of a sprint is a powerful burst of speed over a short distance, where as running is defined as keeping a moderate pace over a longer distance.
if y’all wanna see an extremely funny movie about the crazy adventure of two ppl trying to satisfy their food craving then y’all should definitely watch Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle
Love that you're getting paid adverts.......more power to you! It's fleeting ....so spend wisely....wait till next year to go crazy. By next year , i mean 12 months😀
Sprinting is running flat out, as fast as you can possibly go. That's why sprinting events, in track & field, are shorter distances than other running events, like the 800 m or 1600 m.
When she said, "Ooh, destroying the snow globes will be nice", and my man was asking, "Would that do it for you?" She paused, thought about it and got that glazed look in her eyes before she smiled and said, "Yeah", run. Whatever you do, run. It don't matter if your clothes are dirty, and you're wearing Air Force One's - run..... LOL.
The movie you're thinking of at the end is Muppet Treasure Island, a Muppet adaptation of the Robert Louis Stevenson book. It's amazing, not just as a Muppets project but it's just a really good movie. And yes, it's a musical, and in my opinion the music is even better than this one. It's insanely fun and I think you'd love it.
I think you guys should check out the movie "Big Trouble In Little China"(1986), it stars Kurt Russell and Kim Cattrall. It's action packed, fun, & has a pretty good story. They’ve been talking about a reboot with The Rock Johnson, but I hope that doesn’t happen AT ALL.

That probably has something to do with them being in Kingpin together, that Farrelly bros movie

the thumb is called 'hitchhiker's thumb.' Hitchhikers use it to signal that they need a ride
I was looking for this. If it wasn’t here, I’d have said it.
Vince: "Does this do it for you? Destroying stuff?
Shoshana: *mischievous smile* "yeah..."
Emma Stone: "I'm sorry, he just gets me. But still, it's sad." I love her so much 😂
Well glad you like this one cause there's a part two
The thumbs up is very old school, meaning “I need a ride, pick me up”, like a hitchhiker.

My favorite part had to be Tallahassees reaction to Berkley 😂
What a classic little movie this is. I remember always raving about this one as a kid and nobody knowing what I was talking about 😂😭
LOL... 14:16 "Does this do it for you? Destroyin' stuff?" ... That bright smile... gleaming eyes... "...Yeah..." hahaha. Ya'll are the best!

The Amusement Park scene were actually shot at my hometown Park, Wild Adventures in Valdosta, Georgia.

YALL SHOULD ALSO WATCH ZOMBIE LAND DOUBLE TAP (part 2 to this movie)
Thanks for continuing making videos, very fun to watch content I like through the thoughts of other people who are new to it :)
I was also surprised that Amber was smart enough to open a door.
That's not a thumbs up, that's a sign asking to hitchhike.
The young girl actor you asked about, "Where do I know that girl from?" She played the part of little Bo, in the movie "Signs."
she's little miss sunshine
4:15 The thumbs-up thing was supposed to mean pick up. Like when a person on the side the road holds a sign with a thumbs up.
My dude was "aight, remember the rules?"😂
