And woofers that can go that deep... Will probably give same physical experience you get from the rumbling low end of a church organ with the right speakers :)
Thanks for sharing this. Nice sounding pedal. I really like how they give you the ability to add dry signal...plus the mid switch...and it's small! Get down '):
It’s a clone of Janek Gwizdala’s early-to-mid 80s OC2. With a bit of signal bump, the switchable mid boost, and very decent tracking. Make sure you play way up on those high frets to find the magic (in the classic “oct1 only” setting). The fact that they emulated what the analog oc2 does up there is really cool and a fantastic attention to sonic detail.
Nice info here. This pedal, the aguilar and the 3 leaf - seem to be the best? ( also ) the S.A. C-4 synth also sounds very-Moog-like. I'm currently shopping for a pedal to emulate Moog Synth Bass. oNe LovE from NYC
I bought the MRX Dyna Com compressor after watching your video. Then after doing research, I bought the bass octave, envelope filter & Carbon Copy by MRX. Thanks For Sharing.
Which do you like better, MXR Vintage Octave or Boss OC-2? BTW, I discovered your channel about a year ago and it quickly became one of my favorite channels. Love your lessons and picked up some killer licks and grooves from you. Thank you!
MXR makes some cool pedals. I have a real 1975 MXR Phase 45 with script logo that i scored on about 17 years ago. Not much of a pedal for bass, but a cool pedal nonetheless.
I want this pedal for my bass :) For emulating the rumbling physical experience you get from the deep end sound of big church organ pipes. Would be able to do a lot of interesting stuff with this and the right speakers that can go down to 20hz and maybe even lower... Under 20hz it become more of a physical experience for the whole body :)
This is one killer octave !
I’ve been trying to find a solid demo of this unit.. awesome !! The tracking sounds seriously good !
thanks!
Yeah!! Daric you painted a much better pic for me on MXR Mini Bass Octave pedal. Now I'm really glad I just purchased one can't wait to get it.
Two (2) octave drop, nice! Powerful with the right amount of wattage in a live situation!!
Absolutely 🤘🏾

So to my ears, this pedal sounds alot like the ‘Boss OC-2’ without the tracking problems of the oc-2..
It's basically an OC-2 clone with a switchable mid boost and better tracking.
Its an oc2 clone with all and the tracking issues

Hey Daric, I have the MXR Deluxe Chorus. It's incredible! 👌🏿
I'll try their Envelope Filter.

Damn... I wonder if you can hit a brown more with that second octave, lol. Would make for an interesting gig
Hey Does the tracking work with the low B string?
Great review
