Hey, 1st time on your page, and I like the collection. I, too, try to keep the collection at 12. A trick is to place the watch or watches you want to move in their boxes and put them away for, say, a few weeks. You'd be surprised to what you end up missing and not missing. Also, when you start moving up to more expensive watches, you will find that you don't need as many of the cheaper ones. They just start to feel inferior. All in all good video and cheers to 2025!

Great vid and its been really fun to watch this channel grow (in addition to the collection), so I'm glad you started! If it were me I would start with selling the A158, addiesdive, then consider san Martin and Panerai homage but it's so hard 😭

Love your Collection, especially the Bulova Lunar Pilot, the Fujitsubo and the red Promaster Eco Drive. These are exactly the watches i want to put in my collection of 20 pieces (Casios, Citizen, Seikos and homages), i can‘t sell none them, but i will put some that i don’t wear in the drawer and leave a few for display and wrist rotation.
I began collecting 2 years after i sent my beloved Citizen Chrono (the only watch i wore for 8 years straight) to Citizen for repair and I needed a watch to bridge the waiting time and bought the beautiful Seiko 5 Sports SNZH53K1, the glossy one in blue, which I had always wanted. That's how it started and I can understand the dilemma. :-)
I really don‘t understand the homage hate, the San Martin 62Mas is beautiful.
The watches i wear most are the great G-Shock Casioak GBM-2100 im Metal, my Citizen Promaster Automatic and the Heimdallr SKX007 homage.

I started collecting for a bit different reason… I went to my own wedding without really thinking with Garmin sporttester on my wrist… so my wedding photos look hilarious and sad at the same time… I thought I could get one watch for these kind of occasions… got my Orient Kamasu and it went downhill from there 😂
the homages will probably always have haters… I can’t hate then… the San Martin is indeed incredible… I love wearing it…

@@WatchWatch-ck6xlWhat can i say, i already got me the Promaster Diver, the „Unite with Blue“ BN0166-01L, the one with the stunning dial i wanted since release.
I found it by chance half an hour ago for under 300 euros at a small jeweller in my home town who was having a sale. I was ecstatic, couldn't say no and bought it straight away. It's hard to describe how beautiful this watch is.
And i wish you too a great 2025. :-)

Yeess first. Thank you for show your collection! First, excuse my english. I recomend you to staple a number of watches in your main collection, 12? 10? Its ok, you must wear It, enjoy It, and sell ALL the another ones. For me, I must wear my watches, and have a nice variety, of colors and functions.
I like so much, the fugitsubo, the Kamasu (I have it in red) the Eco-Drive diver, the DW5610, Bulova, and Alpinist.

Great and honest video mate! I like your collection. You should keep Helm, Orient, Bulova chronograph, 2-3 casio's, Seiko's, Citizens and Forteller... recommendations from me are Seiko turtle or samurai lineup and presage coctail time and Certina DS Super PH1000M. Cheers 🍻

Great collection but, why get rid of any? I have around the same amount although, half of them are Casios! I also keep saying that I must sell some but, I love them all and there are still watches that I want to buy (the lunar pilot being top of the list) so, keep them all and enjoy them all.

You have a fantastic collection & I fully understand the difficulty you’d have parting with the larger number of them. Twenty is a nice collection being honest. Some would say probably too many, but I disagree. I have vastly way more but I’ve been collecting more than 40 years. I kinda regret selling my Flighty. Paid about £120 for it. Now they’re crazy money.
Your collection is very like mine when I started out 5 years ago. It’s changed a lot since then. Will be interesting to see how it evolves.

Hi Karl. I enjoyed that. A very nice collection. One thing though. Be careful when using the military watch strap name as It can get you into real trouble. Most of us use the term 'NATO Style Strap' as the name itself is trademarked...and they do enforce it heavily. Just a friendly bit of advice 😊

If you love all the watches you have, the best advice is: Don’ t sell, otherwise sooner or later you will regret. I have, not 20 but almost 40 and now, when i want another, i try to sell one. Just that. I can perfectly live happy with 40 watches..😁😁

Hi Karel and all the best in 2025! Love the collection, especially the Bulova twins, as you know for us Czechs that brand has a special significance and those two pieces are probably the creme de la creme of their designs, so full of character!
That is why I would get rid of the Seiko and Panerai homages. I am just not a homage guy and I see you have a lot of original, characteristic pieces so no need for clomages imho. Anyway keep up the good work, love the show!

Well, that was quite a ride. The only watch out of the entire video that I would wear or own is the Hamilton Khaki you got rid of. Maybe the FlightMaster but otherwise, this video was a video of watches I won’t ever own.
Talk about opposite perceptions of quality.
Hahahah that is why we have so many options 🤷♂️ I love those… and I hated the Khaki, cuz it didn’t feel like what it was supposed to be, robust, adventurous field watch… While my citizen Promaster feels like I could beat someone to death with it 😂 and it would ask for more… 1000 people 1000 tastes 😁 thank you for watching and happy new year!!!!
Don’t sell any that you genuinely like. Selling for the sake of having some arbitrary number is nonsensical. If you are worried about the collection getting too big simply refrain from buying more unless you sell first. A one out one in policy. If you are not happy ‘trading’ a current watch for a new one you want then you clearly don’t want/need the new one.
Sounds logical… but it also feels like having that many watches kinda limit of time I can wear them… and genuinely enjoy them… sometimes I set one and already think I should wear other one 🤷♂️🤦♂️ thank you very much for watching and all the best to the new year!!!
I sold a few of my Casios that looked nice but felt that they will not last a really long time in terms of durability and didn't wear them that much. If I was in your shoes I will bite my tongue and sell what i don't fell it will stick for a long time both in terms of looks and fell.
100% agree… I kinda tend to keep watches that I think would last very long time… that also keeps me away from buying a lot of Casios that I think look cool, but also don’t feel like other Casios that feel like they could survive nuclear blast… thank you very much and wishing you the best to the new year!!!!

Do Homage watches make you feel a bit cheap and dirty / slightly ashamed to show other people? Thats how I felt when I've owned some which is annoying as they are great watches but just doesn't sit right with me and stops me from fully enjoying owning them.
Maybe a little actually - feels a bit like cheating… and it widely depends where I am going and whom to meet… if its a watch guys I realized I do not want to wear homages…
