My barn find needs you brother I’ve got same bike 01 4,200 miles when I got it now 5,000 I’ve done carb boots, air filter, oil change, sea foam x2, nice to see someone getting it done

Just got V star 650 . I’ve been trying to clean it up , I’m stuck at the carbs .everything on the bike is so dirty. Plus it needs exhaust.

Was it not starting before? or was it a runnng bike? I have one that doesn't start, trying to figure out where to start first.

Nope! I'd make one if I still had the bike though!

Mine doesnt sound even close to that good
Those were just gutted stock pipes, that's how that bike came.

On bikes not very long, on cars maybe 5 years

Go ahead and run 130 mains and pod filters and buy dynatek 3000 computer
what's that tube at 1:54 for. my 650 has it as well. it's a sealed off tube running directly from the engine.
Im wondering abt the same
Smog control. AIS or something.
How much did you charge yourself for the rebuild?
