"Full Color" because Super7 will release multiple versions in the future. They usually do some weird color combos, plus clear versions with the Super Cyborg line.
Nope. It's too expensive, there's barely any figures that will fit in it, it's inaccurate, and there are already a LOT of renditions of this vehicle to choose from.
Way too expensive!!!... still regret not buying a RC Batmobile 89 at TRU 7 years ago, it was 40 bucks and i actually thought it was too expensive.... wow things have changed!!!
It looks weird because it’s a render in isometric view so it’s not in real perspective and things that should appear smaller based on distance from the viewing plane are exactly the same size as areas closest to the viewing plane. In other words nothing gets smaller the farther away from the “camera”
I canceled my Batmobile 1989 Hot Toys to buy the Batmobile PRO from Jazzinc. I have the Mcfartlane gold label which is a terrible disappointment Batmobile. One more Batmobile I think it's enough but let’s see after the reviews 😺👍
Way too expensive for what it is, in my opinion... And the price point compared to McFarlane's one.... I dunno. Spin Masters one will work fine enough with my 3+ inch Batmans... And the McFarlane one with some upgrades (which already includes one of the most affordable 7 inch 89's Batmans), is good enough for my budget.
Yes, but I think this is more for fans who want something new, and anyone who was wondering what was under the hood of the batmobile. It also might be able to fit the Reaction Figures, so we might see '89 Batman and Vicky Vale figures in Reaction.
If this was as it should be...priced at what its worth ..40 to 50 bucks, then yeah id say you cant knit pick....but at an astounding, riduculous, outragous price of 125 freakin bucks ....i will knit pick every missed detail
I feel sorry for all the scalpers that are gonna put these on Ebay. Because they absolutely won't be able to move them even at retail price, let alone the markup. Actually, no I don't feel sorry for them. Lol. This thing isn't worth more than $40. GL with it 😂
I'll be waiting for the inevitable s7 sale. If it was accurate, I might have paid full price. But someone can get 3 mezco 89s for about the same price, and they are far more true to screen. So I don't see this selling out, unless it's discounted.
Nah! These Batmobiles are just not good enough by far for me at any price point. The proportions are all over the place. The McFarlane version is the worse. Its unforgivable for the single seat configuration and that awful canopy disaster.
@@megajayretro Yeah! Excuses & It's laziness. There are so many technical drawings of this vehicle out there! a scaled version can be produced accurately at any size. Jazz Inc & Hot Toys have made ones that are big enough for two seats but theirs are high end products. McFarlane just literally has to copy & paste and make it of plastics at cheaper manufacturer cost and Hey presto! They already make the Animated series Batmobile.....with two seats.
@@dtuk22 McFarlane didn't really make the animated version. They kinda just re-released it. Imo the McFarlane 89 is overall better than the s7 one, even though it only has one seat. It is much bigger, came with a 7in figure, and was originally 75 bucks. The canopy was the biggest error in shape, but Ramen fixed that.
@@truerc I know, DC collectables developed that car and overall did a genuinely recognised good job of it. But even that McFarlane has cheapened. The interior lights shine through the canopy roof ! Something the original DC version didn't. McFarlane has also released the Batman Forever Batmobile....with a single seat! Pointless imo.
@@dtuk22 Yeah, they frequently make bad decisions. But McF prices usually aren't too bad. S7 though often has high prices and includes errors or defects that shouldn't exist.
@@megajayretro Wish that were true, my friend. I am a car lover, own almost every version of the '89 Batmobile (diecast, hot toys, model kits, etc) and I have e personally 3d modeled it. I know it very well and this is one of the worst examples of it, which is more astounding considering the price tag. Whoever designed this and ok'd it failed at simple research. It is possible to alter it and make it look a little better. But these changes do the opposite. It has multiple problems but some of the most noticeable for me are the dips on top of the front fenders and hood's drastic slant downward toward the center of the car. Very unappealing and makes zero sense. Shame because I would really like a Batmobile closer to 1/18 like this is. The price is nutty for the size, but I would have considered it if it was more accurate.

AHHHHH!!!! Gotcha!!!

I think Reaction "Might" fit so we may see '89 Batman and Vicky Vale in Reaction soon.

Is Super7 going to release a Reaction+ (the o-rings figs) of Batman ? It would look great seated in this Batmobile.
It sure does look like it!
what size figure fits inside

If you're a '89 Batmobile fan this is an interesting one with the removable panels.

The Spin Masters one is far superior

doing some basic math, this is 1:18
lol never was any good at maths
@@megajayretro oh, it's alright. just used the actual movie car measurements and the toy and it gave me exactly 18

Looks like someone stepped on it. Horribly designed and mis-shappened.
lol oooh that's harsh!

Yeah it's tough to get the batmobile right at this scale apparently (which is strange)

Wildly inaccurate. I don't know why anyone would approve this. But it is Super7 after all. At this price, at least try to mimic the real car a little.
lol it's not THAT bad, but yes there are issues here and there.
