I still recall the days when it was possible to remember every Magic card. It's funny now how many weird, random cards can show up that you might have barely seen before. "Opponent with the what now? Grabby Giant??" haha!
One of my favorite interactions in this shell is copying a Devious Cover-Up against a Reenact the Crime or Squirming Emergence deck and exiling all of their reanimate spells
Just rewatching this, when I first saw it I had almost lost hope because they had a duress under a Bombardment but man its sweet to watch that game play out.
I've been playing deadly cover up in a couple of different historic decks that run bombardment, and I am shocked at how good it is in a bombardment deck. At first I thought it was a bit of a nonbo, since it removes the resources that your game plan is relying upon. But then I realized that the collect evidence portion of the card happens when you cast it, not when it resolves which means you collect evidence before bombardment gets a trigger. Since collect evidence doesn't have a top end, you can take out however many cards you want, which means in addition to the exile effect you're getting for your opponent's deck you are also getting to eliminate the possibility of picking up any cards with bomba that you don't want. You could eliminate all but one card in your graveyard to make certain that that specific card is what goes under bomba right now. If you then follow that up with an instant next turn you have a guaranteed cover up at instant speed on your opponent's turn. I've begun experimenting with the notion of what I could get away with if I could have any one spell for free every turn and control what it is. So like, multiverse every turn, motherlode every turn, stuff like that. Dome them with explosive singularity perhaps? Cryptex and extract a confession are interesting as backups to this effect. Cryptex even benefits from proliferate.
Been playing all three phoenixes, 3 mechanized warfares, 2 Chandra, 1 arcane bombardment, 3 falls of kroog and 3 invoke calamity. And 1 rakdos lord of chaos sprinkled in Climbed real fast in the early season so far. Rest of deck is filled with treasure token generators and like festivities (deal 1 to all enemies). Red is the way !
Well, if we're doing deck submissions, I've got a Brawl deck you may enjoy just for fun. It's Roalesk, Prime Specimen for your commander, Treasure Hunt and Splendid Reclamation. Literally everything else is lands. Mulligan for Treasure hunt, use it to get Splendid Reclamation and approximately 50 lands, discard a bunch to hand size, cast Splendid Reclamation, then enjoy using your commander to play Momir with practically infinite mana. It's by no means a good deck, nor do I expect to see a video on it, but it's funny as all get-out when you get to do the funny. Also costs all of like 3 wildcards, so there's that. Edit: You could also throw in a couple of the discover lands for if you miss on mulligans, but then you run a 50/50 of either doing the funny or completely bricking the deck, sooo...
I see Push/Pull in here... I tried that one for a while, but it just did not work for me. It's terrible against control, and not even that good against the small aggro decks. Love to see more AB content! I am trying a Boros AB deck and it's working okay at the moment. Soul Partition and Not On My Watch are awesome.

This is a fun looking deck. Honestly, I wanted to talk TRASH, but you made it work. And I'm a fan of the edit breakdown. Noice!!
Whoooooooo!!!! Arcane Bombardment is back on the menu!
YAY! I missed this videos so much thanks for bringing them back

Great deck idea, and solid adjustments as well. Both good concepts. I've loved the poison + bombardment builds. Thanks for sharing both!

All of what you said is what I've found with Cover Up, it's amazing, especially if you run into a meta combo deck and you can exile their wincons.
was getting worried, no bombardment for a while!

Flip a coin, thrill of possibility, big score basically left to mention >
how did you not run into boros convoke or mono red? where can i buy mtg arena premium ?
Vampire's Vengence is pretty much the only answer in the original deck to boros convoke on the turn they Recruiter
You can also combine some collect evidence effect to remove from the graveyard all the spells you dont want to cast
I recommend a blue/green poison deck. 4 Rot Priest for poison, and 40 hexproof instants that cost 1-3 mana. Pretty fun tbh
27:25 that was a big screw up playing the land instead of tossing it. ^^
