The Chase Checking Account Bonus for the Ink Cash does not require you to have a checking account before November 2024 - that November date is only the time limit for Ink Cash card applications. The business checking account as well as the card have to be in existence "on your first card anniversary", i.e. one year after the card approval. Get Card now and the checking account at least before that year is over - That's how I would read that.

There may have been a miscommunication with your CPA. As you explained it a person might get audited if they put for example agriculture as their business category but actually their business was social media. I don't think this is correct because Chase does not tell the IRS what business category a person checked when they applied for a business credit card.
No the second added part to what I said was it’s fine to have the wrong category, just when they hand over their statements etc from each business card like a lot of folks do, and written off in that way, that can raise issues. But they said if everything is kind of itemized and given outside of the business card, then yes you’re absolutely right, doesn’t matter at all. I guess it’s a very small point, you’re right, I just wanted to relay what he told me etc. Probably doesn’t affect any of us honestly haha. But for sure, I guess the main good thing to know is it doesn’t really matter what the category is, nice to know you can just pick one that will get you approved, and for most, won’t matter after the fact. @@AnthonyVenture i put down my "business revenue" as 13K which is what i made in 2023 from my rental property I believe the biggest thing was my lack of history with chase just got the CSP then went right after that chase business cash card
