Well I'm a little late to the game. My mother in Law actually got me one to start off. Luckily the one she got, the rope goes all the way through to a little knot so I was able to pull it through and tie a new knot. I have a bit of string that I will eventually cut off but this is fun!

If you're playing essentially 8th notes, is it just the natural inclination of the subdivisons that the "clack" will be heard on the off beats, or can you clack them on the on beats every time?

there's several techniques that allow you to place a clack anywhere you want..... we play in 16th notes
